Up for auction is this 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa finished in Black over a black interior.  Reported to have been purchased new from Beverly Hills Porsche by Nicollette Sheridan, this 1984 example remained under the actress's care before it was acquired by the current owner’s family in 2015.  It has since been completely refinished, thoroughly serviced, and fitted with a classic Ducktail rear spoiler, sport shock absorbers, and refinished 7”x9” Fuchs wheels.  A lifelong California car, this Targa is now being offered for auction with approximately 120k miles showing on the odometer.

This 911 comes finished in Black with removable Carrera side graphics in green.  Under the current ownership, the car was treated to a complete glass-out repaint in its original color and fitted with a classic RS-style Ducktail spoiler. The Targa top was also redone and the original standard decklid is said to accompany the sale.  Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  This 911 rides on refinished 16” Fuchs wheels measuring 7” wide in front and 9” wide in the rear.  These wheels feature colored Porsche center crests and the BF Goodrich tires are reported to be about 5 years old.

The black interior has been refurbished with a reupholstered dashboard, front seats, and rear speaker shelf. The tachometer has been tilted and an upgraded MOMO Corse 3-spoke steering has been installed along with a modern Kenwood KDC-X300 Bluetooth radio.

This first-year Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.2L flat-six engine rated at 207 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque stock.  The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed manual transmission.  An upgraded air filter has been installed and the engine was serviced at the time of the seller’s acquisition along with the installation of upgraded sport shock absorbers and new brake lines, pads, rotors, and a master cylinder.

This sale will include a toolkit and a clean title.  Showcasing some of the most iconic styling features of the air-cooled era, this nicely presented Carrera Targa is just waiting to be enjoyed by a new caretaker.

Nice looking Targa! I have a few questions. I was interested in finding out if you have any of the service records? Is all the instrumentation working? Any oil leaks? I noticed the accident report in 2013. Do you have any info on that? How long ago was the repaint?
    Thanks!
