Finished in Guards Red over a Black interior, this 1985 Porsche 911 Cabriolet is said to have spent much of its life under the care of the same family while being meticulously maintained at Stuttgart Northeast in Danvers Massachusetts. Supported by a collection of service records, this classic 911 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts while showing approximately 72k miles on the odometer.

This 911 is finished in Guards Red with a black convertible soft top and a matching canvas boot cover. Equipment includes impact-absorbing bumpers, a front valence with integrated fog lights, headlight washers, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels dressed in BF Goodrich tires. The seller notes the tires remain in very good condition and the exterior shows some cosmetic imperfections consistent with the car’s mileage. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The Black partial leather interior includes matching carpet floor mats, a heated and power adjustable driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, and an aftermarket Kenwood radio paired with upgraded speakers. Fading is noted on the carpet as well as some wear and tear on the driver’s seat. All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly.

Up to 207 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels from an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed 915 manual transaxle. The seller indicates routine maintenance has been kept up to date throughout the car’s long-term family ownership and associated records are included with the sale.

This sale will include a spare tire, some service records, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This is a stunning, three-owner 1985 Porsche 911 Cabriolet with 71,951 miles on the odometer.  This car has what you want in a 911 Porsche; she is finished in Guards Red with a Black leather interior and a new Black canvas convertible top. Overall, this car is in excellent condition and worth a look by anyone desiring a mid-80s 911 Carrera Cabriolet. This 1985 Porsche 911 Cabriolet has been in the same family for years and although she has three owners, at least two of them are family members. This car has been meticulously maintained over the years by Stuttgart Northeast in Danvers Massachusetts and available service records will be coming with the car. Her paint and interior are original so there are a few paint chips, and the driver’s seat needs to be recovered. She is powered by her 3.2L H6 SOHC 12V engine coupled to her 5-speed manual transmission. The motor is strong, the clutch is good, and the gearbox is fluid and has no issues. The exterior is in excellent condition benefiting from care and maintenance, no winter driving, and storage in a heated garage facility. This is an exceptionally well-maintained and mechanically sound 911. It runs and drives great.”
