Powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six mated to a 5-speed 915 manual transmission, this 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Moss Green Metallic over tan leather upholstery. It benefits from comprehensive maintenance items throughout 2024, including a recent tune-up and the installation of a new Sachs clutch package, billet oil return tubes, front and rear main seals, timing chain ramps, RSR rocker shaft seals, stainless steel hardware, and much more. This G-body 911 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Hampshire with approximately 181k miles showing on the odometer.
This 911 is reported to have been refinished in its factory-specified shade of Moss Green Metallic (L20C) in 2007 as part of a full restoration. The car was stripped down and repainted in the original color using PPG paint, applied in a base coat-clear coat configuration. Equipment includes a black retractable soft top, a front valence with integrated fog lights, integrated front fog lights, headlamp wishers, a Porsche-branded rear reflector, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels with BFGoodrich G-Force Sport tires from 2018. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents tan leather seats upholstery with matching floor mats contrasted with a black dashboard and door tops. Accessories include a heated and power-adjustable driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, and air conditioning. Wear is shown on the driver’s side carpet area.
Power is derived from an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine, delivering up to 207 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. The seller states the AC compressor clutch requires replacement, while maintenance and upgrades throughout 2024 include the following:
This sale will include a clean title, a spare tire, and an aftermarket head unit.
The seller would like you to know: “This car, which has been garaged its whole life, has had an average of 200 miles driven on it per year over the last ten years. This car will need some fine tuning and some preventative maintenance to make it really nice. It starts up grumpy and rough until it warms up. It goes down the road nice and straight and goes through all the gears as it should.”

@SeacoastCars thank you
@Dr.Jekyll Hi there; it is just bird droppings. The car had been outside after the original photo shoot then PCAR asked for that pic of the trunk and the numbers under the hood which were taken later. There is no scratch no peeling pant.
@NHPorscheguy the car is a Private Party sale. It is stored with us and we have listed it for the owner. We are not a dealership.
@Wylden Good morning; the cold start issue is believed to be a few sensors total replacement cost around $1000. Work was not performed yet simply due to our air cooled Porsche mechanics availability we only have a few in our area and they are booked out. He has availability coming up in about two weeks if you have interest in having this work done.
HI, can you clarify if you are a private party or a dealer? It says private party, but I see the car was purchased in September and the mileage is the same as listed here. So I take it you are not the recent, long term owner of the car?
Could you please respond to my question from two days ago?

@SeacoastCars I believe you noted that there are some ‘grumbles’ at the start. Would really appreciate a cold start video to understand that. Thank you.
Can you get a closer up pic of what looks like a scratch with paint peeling in pic 74 on the left.
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@PcarNYC The car has never seen salt and it is winter here roads are salted so we won't be taking it out right now. There is a video here of it running though.
@michaelp1usa The AC pump clutch needs to be replaced.
@urfealex Yes we have full documentation of the work done.
Everything works properly?
Can you please post a start up video and a driving video?
Hi, you mention a new tune up amongst several other service items being done recently. Curious if you had the shop try to fix the rough running after start up you mention? If so what’s the issue? I can’t imagine not trying to get it running well for the sale.
Love a Cab and love the green!
Were the stock 15” wheels swapped with 16”s?
Nice example. Do you have full documentation of work done ? Any details on items that need to be addressed? TIA
