We are pleased to present this 1985 Porsche 944 finished in Kalahari Metallic over a brown partial leather interior. Purchased by the seller as new from Fred Lavery Porsche, this 1-owner 944 has been kept in excellent condition throughout the years while accumulating approximately 36k miles. Having undergone a major service at 30k miles which included a new timing belt and water pump, this concours winning example is said to be in phenomenal driving condition just waiting to begin its journey with a new caretaker.
Said to have never been subjected to winter driving conditions, the Kalahari Metallic finish is noted to be in excellent condition. A collection of detailed images is provided in the photo gallery. Exterior features include integrated front fog lights and factory Phone Dial wheels.
Inside, this 944 features a brown partial leather interior which is stated to be in fantastic shape. Factory options include a power operated sunroof, rear window wiper, cruise control and a steering wheel with raised hub. An aftermarket XM radio head unit has been installed and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 2.5 L inline 4-cylinder engine which is mated to a number’s matching 5-speed manual transmission. 150 HP is sent to the rear wheels providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 8 seconds. There have been no modifications made and the seller notes that a major service was carried out at 30k miles which included a new water pump and timing belt. Included service records show routine maintenance with a complete fluid and filter service performed at 34k miles, this 944 is said to be in exceptional running order.

Yes I had one of the headlights painted to remove the only stone chip. It was done so well you can’t tell it was done or which one was done. I think this is shown when looking at photos. It doesn’t show.

@Docv Good Day No the air conditioner has not been converted. I have had no problem with it and it runs very cold. Yes I have the tools still in original cover and never been used. Compressor is also still in original box. Are you interested in making bid????

@Pumavan There is no rust or scratches or stone chips. Like off showroom floor. Also no leaks at all .one seal was leaking about 4-5 years ago and had it repaired right away. I have always keep up service whenever it needed it.

This is a 1985 .5 model. That means it has the updated dash and air conditioning that runs very cold. As you can tell by the pictures, there are no scratches or stone chips. Looking for someone else to love it.
