This 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa is finished in Iris Blue Metallic over a brown leather interior. It was originally sold in the U.S., featuring an optional short shifter, a central locking system, cruise control, air conditioning, 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels, and a 5-speed manual transaxle paired with its 3.2-liter flat-six engine. A refurbishment was performed in 2021, including a full repaint, new interior upholstery, and a rebuilt engine, before the car was imported from Florida to Quebec in 2023. This Targa is now being offered for auction with approximately 174k miles showing on the odometer.

This 911 is said to have been refinished in its original Iris Blue Metallic (L33P) paint color during the refurbishment in 2021. Equipment includes a removable black roof panel, a black Targa bar, a heated glass dome rear window, headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, a front chin spoiler, and 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels with new Continental ExtremeContact tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a detailed CARFAX report.

The interior has been redone with new brown leather upholstery, matching carpets, and custom basketweave seat inserts. It features a power-adjustable driver seat, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, a 917-style wood shift knob, power windows, air conditioning, a central locking system, cruise control, Rennline aluminum floorboards, aluminum instrument dials, and an aftermarket stereo.

The air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine was factory-rated at 207 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 5-speed 915 manual transaxle. The seller states the engine was rebuilt during the car’s refurbishment in 2021, and a service was performed in 2025 in preparation for the sale.

This sale will include a toolkit, a spare tire, and a Quebec registration.

The seller would like you to know: “Very nice G/Series Porsche 911 with iconic and robust 3.2L delivering Zuffenhausen’s true symphony. This one is refurbished with a stunning color combo. One more air-cooled 911 in your stable, first or last one! You decide! GL!”

@AlexBert I don’t get the “opportunity to scoop” comment. Do you mean winner here gets first look at a 930 you have?

  • nobrakes (registered bidder) 1 monthago

the top appears to be lifting on both the front and the rear edge. There are no specific pics of this area. that would be helpful

THIS 911 has NO Service Records. At All.
Great car in every way. But keep this in mind.

You should Focus Your Attention on 1982 Targa.
From a great Stable. 1982 Targa Winner will have opportunity to Scoop 1988 930. Ending later this week:

@Arron This car never was affected by the flood. It’s just a generic entry that can involve 80% of cars in Louisiana. No Drama here.

  • Arron 1 monthago

The car fax show that the vehicle was in a flood zone. Did the US title show this as a salvaged/flood vehicle?

What is the stamped production month/year?

  • AlexBert (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@gesoffen i said TipTop earlier ;-) Everything works as it Should. No leak. No drama! Restoration done. And Yes! Winner’s prerogative to replace the tires! Even if the Rubber is 100% there, but production date code shows 5-6 years old! Cheers !!

  • gesoffen (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

Not sure why you’re beating around the bush. I’ll ask plainly before I bid (understanding it *may* need new tires based on the age of the *new* tires: anything not working, leaking or rusting that a buyer from far away should know?
Look, I’m interested based on the config and color/combo. But I can’t bid if you can’t answer a direct question b

  • AlexBert (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@gesoffen We are not playing smart here Buddy. We are not on bringatrailer ;-)

  • gesoffen (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

@AlexBert @AlexBert: ah, ok. New has a different connotation than unused. Even if it was less than 1k miles on the odo, you are definitely not selling a new Porsche 3.2
    Carerra.
Any further comments on the functionality of all other components (electrics, a/c, leaks/weaps, etc.)? That is of more interest to me than “new” 6+ year old tires.

  • AlexBert (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@gesoffen TipTop. New tires may have been produced many years Ago. But are New/ 100% tread.

  • gesoffen (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

Any known defects/deficiences (eg electrics, a/c, leaks/weaps, etc)?
Add states new tires but date code indicates 6+ years old. Which is it?

  • MarkCharlton (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

@poorschee what an odd comment. Why would that be the case? Cars over 15 years are not governed by Federal regulations, only provincial ones. The fact that this car is registered in QC proves there’s no issue with compliance.

  • AlexBert (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@poorschee & / or to Whom it may concern.

Don't be fooled by Carfax's nonsense.
    Not the Holy Bible!

  • poorschee 1 month, 1 weekago

Vehicle may not comply with Canada
    Motor Vehicle Safety Standards?

  • AlexBert (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@MarkCharlton Good evening Mark! NGL: No invoice. At All. Gone with the wind. Not Funny/ but it is What it is. Only a Fantastical Finished Product looking / feeling & smelling the Business, with a Clean Carfax. Good Enough for Me to List. Cringe old school used car salesman would Respond You drive a Car, not Papers. Not my Style. Im old. But not cringe.

Carfax talks about Flooded Area where the car may have been. All the Cars from Louisana are targeted by that segmentation. Not an indication this car was impacted. No insurance claim. No Drama.

Alex, a couple of questions: Are there shop receipts to show the rebuilds for the engine, gearbox and other major work?
Is the seller able to provide an attestation that this car was NOT underwater in its earlier life? Many thanks, Mark

shame about the redone interior (dash w/white gauges), I'm out.

  • BigWheels (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

Interesting that you would note that the car was from a flood area but no CarFax damage noted. What are we to make of this? Was the car in fact flooded? Thx for your reply.
