This 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo Slant Nose conversion was owned and crafted by IMSA legend Bruce Leven, whose Bayside Disposal Racing team won 3 victories at the 12 Hours of Sebring in the 1980s. Finished in black over a beige interior with aftermarket black Sparco Sport Seats, this 930 features a 4-speed manual transmission, a Blaupunkt Monterey cassette radio, a security alarm, and a 40% locking differential. This 911 Turbo Slant Nose conversion is said to have remained with Bruce Leven until his passing at which point it was acquired by a close friend and fellow Porsche enthusiast in 2017. Held as part of a private collection and previously listed on PCARMARKET, it is now being offered for auction out of Washington while showing approximately 31k miles on the odometer.
This 911 Turbo comes finished in black and has undergone a Slant Nose conversion featuring steel fenders with pop-up headlights along with unique boxed rocker panels and rear fenders with integrated air intakes. Red-finished brake calipers can be seen behind a set of aftermarket OZ Racing wheels which come wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza - RE760 tires from 2015. Bruce Leven had the pinstripes hand painted as well as the Porsche badge clear coated on the hood. As part of a private collection since 2017, this 930 is said to have been dusted weekly and rarely washed. Some chips are noted on the nose and a collection of detailed images along with a clean CARFAX report are included in the gallery.
The cabin is appointed with a beige interior which came factory-equipped with front seat heating, a Blaupunkt Monterey cassette radio, a steering wheel with an elevated hub, and a security alarm. The optional heated power front sport seats have since been replaced with black Sparco Sport Seats. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be functioning properly.
This 930 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.3-liter turbocharged flat-six engine that generates up to 282 HP and 289 lb.-ft of torque stock. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission and a factory-optioned 40% locking differential. Performance modifications include new front and rear brake calipers and rotors, front and rear JRZ Shocks with external reservoirs, Weltmeister sway bars, and a GHL Intercooler. This 930 is said to have been serviced as needed at Chris’s German in Redmond, WA.
This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, and a toolkit.

@artichoke And your car doesn’t have Lag or a 4 speed. But… :)
@YS-OFCR That's the same hp as my bone stock 993 C4Cab. I agree, it's probably more than listed!
@artichoke Yes, that was what you got in 1986. This has an aftermarket intercooler which would add more power and begs the question what other mods have been done to the engine.
Where/when was the slant nose conversion done?
Is the 282 hp rating correct? Seems very low for a Turbo!
