Up for auction is an exclusive 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe showing only 9,954 miles on the odometer. This extremely low mileage example has had just one owner prior to being recently purchased by the selling dealer. Being in Texas its entire life, the seller states that it has been garage kept and babied since new with no exposure to inclement weather. G-body Carreras of this caliber are rare to find, leaving this car as a very special, collector-grade example.
The vehicle is finished in Grand Prix White, with not so much as a single scratch showing. This 911 still holds its all original paint and is stated to be in excellent condition as the photo gallery shows. A noteworthy feature of this 911 is the special ordered exterior color-matched fuch wheels complemented by colored Porsche crests. This Carrera still wears its original Pirelli Cinturato tires from the factory!
The all original Cashmere leather interior is stated to be in exceptional condition with no flaws. All aspects of the interior including the seats, dashboard, door panels, and headliner are showing no signs of aging. All electronics work as they should including the vehicles original radio.
Power comes from a 3.2L motronic flat-six engine and is connected to a 5-speed manual (915) transmission. The seller states that the vehicle is in excellent running condition and has been regularly maintained by the owner.
Known as the 'G-model', this generation 911 was built from 1973 to 1989, a longer period than any other to-date. The G-model, or G-body, is known for its bellows-style bumpers which was an innovation created in order to comply with the latest US crash test requirements.
The seller notes that this car comes with all records since new, 1 key, a complete set of Porsche workshop manuals, original sunshield and front bra (plastic sealed), air pump, tool roll, and original spare tire.
