Available for auction is this 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe finished in Guards Red over a black partial leather interior. This example carries its original U.S. specification air-cooled 3.2L flat-six engine that makes for and impressive 217 horsepower transferred through a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox. As a former Road Scholars vehicle, this Carrera Coupe is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Flordia showing approximately 102k miles on the odometer.
This 911 comes finished in Guards Red with an optional sunroof and matching aftermarket Whale Tail. It rides on the factory 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels dressed in Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires. The seller notes some minor chips in the paint. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black partial leather interior comes outfitted with black and red Coco floor mats and an aftermarket head unit. @TyStav I have not had any engine out service not have any record of it but the car is bone dry and pulls strong through every gear. No compression tests done.

It's a great looking car and Road Scholars is in my backyard so certain they had it in very good condition upon sale. I plan to drive my next purchase a lot so more difficult in NC without AC. Thanks for the update.

@nvalverde927 I purchased the car from road scholars 3 years ago and have not driven it much at all. I replaced the original rear deck lid and added the whale tail but have the original one that will come with the sale. Car runs fantastic.
@BlueDevils00 I do not have any of the old parts or pics nor plan on replacing it. The car is being sold as is.
@nvalverde927 - so did they just remove the compressor and what was done other than that related to the AC - are you planning on replacing it - do you have old parts and pics? Still doesn’t look like the description has been updated to reflect no AC. Thanks - just trying to make sure I know what I’ve bid on since this wasn’t listed at all and no records posted on this and other service work

@TyStav I’m not aware of any sunroof leaks, that said I keep it in the garage but I’ve never had any issues when washing the car
Does the Sun roof leak? There looks to be signs of water staining on the headliner around the Sun roof?

So how do you list A/C if the compressor is gone are you putting it back in?

No mention of the removed A/C.
