We are pleased to present this collector-grade 1987 930 Turbo finished in Guards Red over a black leather interior.  Built between 1975 and 1989, the 930 Turbo represented Porsche’s top-of-the line 911 model during its entire production run and has since become one of the most coveted sports cars in history.  Originally sold through an authorized Porsche dealership in California, this U.S. spec 1987 example has been painstakingly maintained and is said to stand in original condition.  It is now being offered for auction with approximately 47k miles shown on the odometer by a seller in Texas.

The Guards Red finish on this Turbo is reported to be in excellent condition as indicated by the seller.  All paint is stated to be factory original.  Exterior features include a distinctive whale-tail rear spoiler and original Fuchs wheels which come wrapped in Kumho Tires.  The car is showing to be a truly well-preserved and properly maintained example.

Inside, this 930 features a black leather interior highlighting several desirable factory options.  This interior is said to be in exemplary original condition with all components, gauges and accessories fully functional.  This 930 retains its original Blaupunkt Reno radio and comes factory equipped with an electric sliding sunroof, alarm system, limited slip differential, raised-hub steering wheel, power mirrors and sports seats with electric height adjustment.

This 930 carries it's original 3.3L turbocharged flat-six engine that is rated at approximately 282 HP.  The rear wheels are driven by way of a smooth 4-speed manual transmission that has features a new clutch.  This 930 has undergone $10k in service from the notable air-cooled technicians at RAC Performance in Dallas, TX. ensuring that it is leak-free and mechanically sound for the next owner.  The engine has been refreshed with new seals, gaskets, bushings, belts and fluid and the clutch lining has been replaced as well.  Reported to run beautifully, this Turbo is waiting to be enjoyed out on the open road.

The sale of this spectacular 930 Turbo will include a spare tire, jack, tools, and service records dating back to 1992 as well as a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.  This vehicle is being offered with a clean bill of health and a clear Texas title.
