This 1987 Porsche 924S has been customized as a rally car with a Martini-style livery and features off-road equipment including a lifted suspension, roof rack, front skid plate, Hella lights, and all-terrain Yokohama tires. The car also benefits from extensive service including a new timing belt, water pump, clutch, brakes, joint seals, and much more. Driven approximately 167 kilometers, this rally-style 924S custom is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
The Guards Red exterior features a custom vinyl livery including a white top section, sponsorship decals, and Martini-style racing stripes. The car has been fitted with a front winch, Hella 500 driving lights, a front skid plate, rear hatch tie-downs, mud flaps, and a roof rack housing a spare wheel and jerry cans. Traction boards are also mounted on the rear hatch window. It rides on white-painted 15” phone dial alloy wheels dressed in large Yokohama Geolander A/T tires. The seller indicates the fenders have been modified to accommodate the larger tires and a new windshield has been installed. The black vinyl interior features reupholstered seats with red and black houndstooth cloth inserts as well as a new dashboard cover. The A/C system has been replaced and a modern Bluetooth radio has been installed along with new speakers. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
A naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine delivers up to 150 HP and 142 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle. Recent service is said to include a new timing belt and water pump, a new clutch, joint seals, and a torque tube bearing. The suspension has been raised and overhauled with new components and new front brake rotors have been installed along with new pads front and rear. Some service records are provided in the gallery and there are no outstanding maintenance items reported.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, service records, a clean title, and a spare wheel and tire.

@Notthd As mentionned in the ad, AC and compresser are new. Title is clean, please see Car Fax picture. Car is in Canada, shipping at buyer’s cost, but I will help with the process of tranfer with a broker. I am only 1 hr from the States . @68912Porsche Normally the 924 has an Audi engine. My in 1987 he made a 924s with a 2.5 porsche engine the 944 is wider in the back also a bit different. THANKS

@Denim I bought this car back in its stock form in spring of 2022,
all the mecanical work was done by a performance shop called MGP (as seen of the bills showed in the pictures)
