It is our pleasure to present this 1988 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe finished in Grand Prix White. One of only 701 U.S. market examples produced for the model year, this 1988 Turbo Coupe was generously appointed from the factory with Silver Grey Special Leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable Sport Seats, a black velour luggage compartment, a sunroof, and a steering wheel with an elevated hub. A lifelong West Coast car, this Turbo had been under the care of its original owner in Washington up until 2015 when it was acquired by the second and most recent owner. Perhaps one of the finest 930s on the market, this Turbo is described to have been preserved in exceptional show-quality condition and has been recently treated to a major service in preparation for sale. This highly original 930 is now being offered for auction out of Southern California with approximately 6,500 miles showing on the odometer.
This Turbo was ordered in Grand Prix White and features 16” Fuchs wheels with painted centers, anodized lips, and colored Porsche center crests. The paint is described to be entirely original while remaining in pristine condition throughout, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The car was recently treated to professional detailing and the wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot SX tires dated from 2015. These tires bear approximately 500 miles of use and the original factory-equipped tires are also said to accompany the sale.
Inside, this Turbo showcases a Silver Grey Special Leather interior including optional leather Sport Seats with heating and electric height adjustment. Other features include a steering wheel with an elevated hub, an electric sunroof, and special black velour carpeting in the luggage compartment. The cabin presents like new with the factory Blaupunkt radio remaining in place. Air conditioning, power windows, and an 8-speaker sound system are equipped as standard and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
This 930 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.3L flat-six turbocharged and intercooled engine rated at 282 HP and 289 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 4-speed manual transmission while stopping power is provided by fixed 4-piston aluminum brake calipers paired with ventilated and cross-drilled rotors front and rear. A complete collection of maintenance records is said to accompany the sale and a major service was recently completed by Griot’s Motors of Tacoma, Washington, at a cost of nearly $4k. The fuel tank sender unit was also recently repaired by Porsche of Newport Beach, there are no outstanding service items reported at this time.
This sale will include the original owner's manuals, radio booklet, toolkit, air compressor, front bra, and a clean title. @Vello thank you kindly for your kind words. I represent all of my cars with 100 % honesty and full disclosure and this turbo is typical of all my cars for sale-Meticulous condition and 100 % concours quality cosmetics and mechanics. Unfortunately Apex has a concern about the transmission but it’s 100 % original to the car as is everything else. I dont have a lift nor a jack but hopefully by now with your statement and my promise he will now have no more concerns. And yes I own the car and it’s resides in my showroom here in S. California.

Just caught the only non-OEM item added to the rear window worthy of the marque: those wings of gold. Must be a wide-body CA nowadays to float the note for this stunning example!
I'm confused about the seller and his representation- is this a commission sale or are you selling for a friend? Surely a reasonable request to snap a photo of the tranny numbers as is an expectation that a lift would be made available for any discussion about a beast as rare as this.

@dchesrown sorry no jack in my facility. I am well aware of the importance of “numbers matching” but this car is AS NEW abd I can assure you if I had a jack the tranny number would be crystal clear. I have advised previously that I guarantee the engine and transmission is 100% original.
@momotime you could easily jack up the rear of the car and get a cell phone under the transmission laying on the ground for a photo. Lots of these have bottomed out and the numbers are gone, it makes a huge difference on the value.
@dchesrown Sorry I do not have a lift in my facility but I can guarantee the motor and the transmission are original to the car.

This car was owned by only two fanatical perfectionist since new and the car is as a new car. I have owned and inspected 100's of Porsches over the years and I have never seen a 34 year old car look like this-ever. The first owner loved and maintained the car dearly and the second owner was a surgeon who has only the best of the best Porsches. As stated in the format, this car is 100% serviced, detailed and comes with all the books, tools, bags, spare, etc etc etc. All the service records, window sticker etc etc. This is a car for a person who only wants the best of the best.
