This 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is finished in Guards Red over a tan leather interior with optional Sport Seats. One of 591 U.S. market examples produced during the model year, this 930 Cabriolet was sold new from Holbert Motors of Warrington, Pennsylvania, and is said to have remained with its original owner before being sold on PCARMARKET in 2021. It has since been kept in a climate-controlled facility as part of a private Porsche collection and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York showing approximately 30k miles on the odometer.
This Turbo is finished in Guards Red with a black cabriolet top and matching boot cover. Other equipment includes black stone guard decals over the rear fenders, a front valence with a chin spoiler and integrated fog lights, a “Tea Tray” rear spoiler with a periscope-style third brake light, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels dressed in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires. The car is described to be preserved in excellent overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is lined with black carpeting and features tan leather upholstery covering the door panels, shifter, center console, and electrically adjustable Sport Seats. Accessories include power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, climate control, cruise control, and a sound system paired with an original Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 radio. All gauges and electrical features are said to be working properly.
A turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine is paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox sending up to 282 HP and 289 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels. Some maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report with the last recorded service in 2019 at 30,206 miles including the replacement of the ignition control module. Some routine maintenance has since been performed by an in-house technician at the last owner’s collection.
