Now available for auction is this 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA finished in white over a gray leather interior. The "Gran Turismo Americano" variant of the Pontiac Trans Am was the highest-performing sports car Pontiac offered when it debuted in 1987, receiving a Corvette-sourced V8 engine and a WS6 performance suspension as standard equipment. This 1989 example now shows around 37k miles on the odometer and is being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.
This example wears white paint and features an iconic T-Top roof with removable glass panels. It rides on factory 16" basketweave wheels with WS6 center caps and Kumho tires on all four corners. Inside, this GTA showcases gray leather upholstery with matching floor mats and door panels. A multifunction steering wheel features twelve buttons responsible for stereo and volume controls.
