Up for auction is this 2-owner 1989 Porsche 911 Cabriolet. Featuring a desirable color combination, G50 transmission, and low mileage, this Cabriolet is a stand-out among other examples on the road. Remaining in New York for most of its life, this Carrera eventually made its way to sunny Florida where it is being offered in excellent condition with only 44k miles showing on the odometer.
The black finish on this 911 is said to be in excellent original condition including the fully functional power-delete cabriolet top. A few unique exterior factory features include graduated tinted windshield, an iconic Porsche whale tail, and electric/heated mirrors. This Cabriolet rides on set of beautiful 16” black-centered Fuchs wheels that come wrapped in Michelin tires.
Adding to the eye-catching “blackout” theme of this Cabriolet is a black leather interior that features factory options such as black leather seats, automatic speed control, 6-speaker sound system w/ amplifier, integrated central locking, an alarm system, and a Porsche Reno radio. All electrical systems and accessories are in great working order. Overall, the interior shows very well, making this car a rolling time capsule.
This 911 retains its original 3.2L flat-six engine that produces approximately 217HP and 195 lb-ft torque. The power band is said to be very linear and pulls through the desirable 5-speed G-50 gearbox with ease. This Cabriolet is stated to be up-to-date on all service and in excellent running condition.
The sale will include service records, two keys, and books. Dont' miss your chance to own this incredible air-cooled 911.

@chrismccleary This 89 Cabriolet came out of a private collection in California and comes complete with books, keys, original window sticker, tools, and spare tire. When this 911 was traded on our Ferrari F430 Spyder we were promised service history. Unfortunately, the previous owner later informed us that he cannot locate the previous service history on this vehicle and we will not be receiving the service records. Having said that the CarFax shows several trade lines of services performed at the Porsche dealership. In its current pristine condition, drivability and the fact that everything functions correctly indicates the services were maintained at the correct intervals and almost definitely with an open checkbook.
Any chance of seeing the service records, via additional photos or so?
