Debuted for the 1987 model year, the 928 S4 was a major evolution of Porsche’s luxury grand tourer featuring new aerodynamic bodywork and a revised 5.0-liter V8 engine producing 320 HP. This 1989 example is finished in Guards Red over a black leather interior with optional Sport Seats and a 4-speed automatic transaxle. It was acquired by the seller from its original owner over 10 years ago and is now being offered for auction out of Canada showing approximately 132k kilometers or 82k miles on the odometer.
Compared to the original 928, the S4 version received a black polyurethane rear wing, deeper rocker panels, new flush-mounted taillamps, and an aerodynamically refined nose with an integrated chin spoiler. This example is finished in Guards Red with matching body side moldings and silver 17” Cup 2 wheels from a Porsche 993. The seller notes the car had previously undergone a complete respray in its original color and is currently preserved by a layer of clear paint protection over the front end. The driver is greeted by a black leather interior with optional heated and electrically adjustable Sport Seats. Other factory features include power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, automatic climate control, an electric sliding sunroof, a rear window wiper, a headlamp cleaning system, a digital clock, and a sound system currently paired with an aftermarket stereo.
A naturally aspirated 5.0-liter 48-valve V8 DOHC engine delivers up to 320 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 4-speed automatic transaxle. The seller notes routine service has been observed including replacements of the water pump and torque tube during their ownership.

@fnutz The Trunk closes easily and is perfectly sealed.. The electric trunk release also works perfectly from the occupants section in the front
