Finished in Cinnabar Red over black Bison leather upholstery, this 1990 BMW E30 325i Convertible features a 2.5-liter inline six-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional limited-slip differential. The car had been registered to a single owner in Wisconsin before being acquired by the seller and has undergone recent service including replacement of the valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and timing belt. Showing approximately 59k miles on the odometer, this E30 is now being offered for auction out of California.
This 325i is finished in Cinnabar Red with a black convertible soft top. Equipment includes body-colored mirror caps, protective side moldings, front fog lights, a power antenna, and 14” Style 5 cross-spoked wheels dressed in Toyo Eclipse tires. The soft top is said to have been replaced in 2018, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in black Bison leather upholstery including front sport seats and a three-spoke steering wheel. Factory features include power accessories, cruise control, air conditioning, an onboard computer, heated seats, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. An M Sport shift knob has been added and the right rear window switch was recently replaced along with the convertible hatch struts.
The naturally aspirated 2.5-liter M20 inline six-cylinder engine features Bosch Motronic fuel injection and offers an output of up 168 HP and 164 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and a factory-optioned limited-slip differential. Standard performance features include independent front and rear suspension with torsion bar stabilizers, hydraulic power-assisted steering, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated front rotors. Recent service completed in 2022 includes an inspection, valve adjustment, new valve cover gaskets, timing belt, spark plugs, a new driveline flex disc, front lower control arm bushings, rear brakes, an oil change, exhaust repair, and a new battery.

You don't need HP to have fun. You need a car which is well balanced. This is a dynamic handler. The 318 is even better. Smaller engine, lighter handling.

There is only corrosion underneath the car HAS no rust. The heat shield has corrosion. I didn't try and touch up anything under the car. We replaced the muffler. This BMW is in incredible shape. This is definitely one of a kind. We spared no expense mechanically on this 325. Bid with confidence knowing this car is in great shape. I'll post a cold start soon.
Nice E30. Can you post a cold start video? Also can you comment on the rust underneath? Looks mostly like the heat shields. Any rust on the floor pan, body, frame or chassis? TIA!
