The Cadillac Fleetwood derives its name from the Fleetwood Body Company, a custom coachbuilder based in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, which was acquired by Cadillac in 1925 to provide custom bodies throughout its model range. Said to be one of 2,438 Fleetwood Coupes produced for the 1990 model year, this example was originally delivered to Canada, finished in Dark Auburn Metallic over a brown leather interior. It was acquired from the original owner in 2011 and is now being offered for auction at no reserve showing just over 62k miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Dark Auburn Metallic (66U) with a matching Landau half roof and silver lower body cladding. Equipment includes chrome trim, gold badging, and a power antenna. The CARFAX report shows an incident that occurred in 1999 that damaged the rear end, and another incident in 2003 that damaged the front passenger side. The seller also notes some paint chips on the front end, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with the complete CARFAX report. The 15” chrome wire wheels wear Michelin tires from 1998.
The interior features two power-adjustable front seats and a rear bench seat upholstered in brown tufted leather with Cadillac wreaths embroidered on the seat backrests. Faux wood trim lines the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, power accessories, a digital instrument display, a digital information center, a locking glovebox, a center console with an integrated cupholder, courtesy lights, a Twilight Sentinal light sensor, and a Symphony Sound AM/FM radio with a digital equalizer. The seller notes a tear on the driver’s side armrest.
The Cadillac Fleetwood is powered by a 4.5L V8 that was factory rated at 180 HP and 245 lb.-ft of torque. The front wheels are driven by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The seller reports that the original service book shows a history of dealership maintenance during previous ownership.

I just received a question about the title. It is clean. It is registered to me, it's just not insured to drive regularly at this time. I will just have to sign it over to the new owner.
I was also asked about issues, what works and what doesn't. No issues. Everything works. There are more options than I have seen before. I just took it to a car show, (on a temp). Very quiet, rides like a dream. Starts, runs and drives without issue. Everything you would expect in a luxury collectible.

Another note. This car gets 30 to 35 MPG. It would make a very nice commuter vehicle.

I noticed there have been a few 1990s Cadillacs sell on here. All went for well over $10,000.00. Decent numbers. I need to move my collection, but I don't want to give my cars away. I also know that bidders from the US are nervous about handling brokers and paying shipping costs. My offer is this. If my vehicle gets over $10,000.00, I will help with the costs, and I will take care of the broker, including the brokerage fees. Hopefully that helps someone from south of the border feel more comfortable bidding. It's a beautiful luxury automobile.

I know there is some concern by American buyers regarding bringing vehicles south across the border. I have done this and it is very easy to do. One simply hires a broker, (I can hook the buyer up with a broker who will walk him/her through the process), and then one hires a shipping company. Winnipeg is the nearest city, and Emmerson is the nearest major crossing into the USA. I will transport the vehicle to either at my cost.
There were only 2,438 produced. It is a very heavily optioned luxury automobile. It comes with an original owner's manual, a mechanic's manual, 2 sets of gold keys, and a Cadillac Credit Card with the VIN on it. I am only selling it because I have to, for personal reasons. I find I have to 'thin the herd'. It's not how I wanted to enjoy my collection, but it is what it is.
I have owned this car for approximately 10 years. I bought it from the original family. I have only put approximately 2,000 miles on it. (Note that some spaces on the Carfax are kilometers and some are miles).
The first issue I'm going to address is the Carfax. It shows 2 minor collisions. I was not aware of them when I bought the car approximately 10 years ago. I had my mechanic check the car out and he stated it was in excellent condition. He did not notice any signs of a collision. That tells me that the collisions were minor, and that they were professionally repaired. If anyone requires further pictures to prove these statements, please do not hesitate to ask.
