The final evolution of Ferrari’s mid-engine four-seater grand touring cars, the Mondial t was the forerunner to a new generation of transverse-mounted V8 Ferraris as highlighted by the “t” suffix. It offered substantial improvements over prior Mondial models including the first integration of power steering in a Ferrari as well as refined styling, electronically controlled suspension, and a larger V8 with electronic fuel injection and Bosch DME engine management. This 1990 Ferrari Mondial t Cabriolet is one of 379 that were originally imported to the United States and showcases a traditional combination Rosso Corsa over tan leather. Said to have been cared for by one prior owner while maintained at a local dealer, this Ferrari is now being offered for auction out of Michigan showing under 18k miles on the odometer.
The “t” version of Ferrari’s Mondial was redesigned with smaller, rectangular air intakes on the rear quarters along with body-colored bumpers and new fenders to accommodate a wider track. This Cabriolet version is finished in Rosso Corsa with a black convertible top and a tan boot cover. It rides on factory 16” alloy wheels mounted with BF Goodrich g-Force Comp 2 tires from 2019. The seller notes the rear bumper was previously refinished by a Ferrari dealer following minor parking damage and a corresponding invoice is included within the car’s records. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFRAX report showing the damage to have occurred in 2016.
The 2+2 cabin is upholstered in tan Connolly leather with matching carpets and contrasting black upper door panels, a three-spoke black leather steering wheel, and a black dashboard. Accessories include a traditional gated shifter assembly, power windows and door locks, automatic seatbelts, Ferrari-branded carpet floor mats, air conditioning, and an aftermarket Alpine stereo. All gauges and accessories are said to remain fully functional.
The Mondial t derives up to 300 HP from a 3.4-liter Tipo F119 “Dino” V8 featuring double overhead camshafts with four valves per cylinder as well as Bosch Motronic DME 2.5 engine management with integrated electronic fuel injection. The rear wheels are driven via a 5-speed manual gearbox with a twin-plate clutch and a limited-slip differential. The Mondial t was also equipped as standard with an anti-lock braking system (ABS), power-assisted steering, and a variable electronically controlled suspension. The seller states that an extensive collection of dealer maintenance records accompanies the sale and a major service was completed in 2023.
The sale will include documentation, a toolkit, and a clean title.

To answer your question Terry Myr is more than qualify ,when you walk into his shop there is Ferrari Lusso
Daytonas ,330 GTC etc. Why Do I use Terry ? because he has work on my Ferrari for the last 40 years

fiat124: Cauley Ferrari did all the service work on the car. Why did you not send the car back to Cauley for its most recent major service in 2023? Who knows if this Terry Myr is even qualified to work on a Mondial T. It is interesting that the most important and most recent service record has been misplaced while all of the previous service records from the previous owner were not misplaced.

I misplace the invoice from 2023 , I put a call on my mechanic and I am waiting for him to email a copy of the invoice , unfortunately he is from old school and it takes forever when you ask to email any documentation

This is the one I still want some day. I have a 328 GTS and a 348 spyder. I only buy open tops. If I was going to buy a Mondial, I would buy the T due to the extra power. This car looks terrific. I do my own engine outs, so that part doesn't bother me. GL
