Very nice Z. Question, the left muffler section looks like it is a little askew. Do you know what is causing that, and will it be addressed prior to sale?

@rhmoritz Sorry forgot to respond to you regarding the Airbag.
As far as I know the Air Bag in this model car started an only as an optional in the 1991 series, not before. As a result there is no factory Air Bag in this series car.
    Thanks

@rhmoritz Good morning! Undercarriage pictures already posted.
Honestly I never cared about the center steering wheel emblem. I believe that here in Florida I might find an excellent used one or even a new one. I don't believe it is a problem.
Thanks for your interest. I will be around just in case there is any other questions/request.

I have a '91 model of basically the same car. The pearl paint is stunning in person. One of those that people over look until they get close enough to notice the pearl detail and then they absolutely love it . Mine has 180,000 miles on it since it's my daily driver all summer long. When those turbos kick in it is the most fun car I've ever owned. With proper maintenance it should last forever.

Noted that the steering wheel emblem is missing. Unfortunately the part is discontinued and no longer available from Nissan. Is the steering wheel an airbag equipped model? Any undercarriage pictures available?

@rhmoritz Just to correct my response Two injectors I believe were replaced but it was not the solution to the problem. Replacing the OX Sensors was the correct fix.

  • Principe (seller) 2 years, 11 monthsago

@rhmoritz Thansk for your interes. Yes the Turbos are the originals to the car and they respond as they should, The HICAS IS in good working condition. Everything is...
It is good to mention that this car have being owned for over twenty years and specially kept, serviced, pampered and etc, from a well known and longtime NISSAN Dealership Owner. It wasn't, of course bis daily driver. In any case he enjoyed and took care of it as one of his precious toys. All records are on file and posted I believe. As far as I remember , last year two of them have being replaced. In any case the issue was solved by replacing the OX Sensor and one other sensor. I found that the car was not properly idling and when started I
    used to smell gasoline. Tks

That is a really beautiful example and I just took time to share it with my network. GLWTA!

  • rhmoritz (registered bidder) 2 years, 11 monthsago

Stunning example! Having previously owned and maintained a 91 TT, I have a few questions.
Do the turbos (original?) spool up and provide full power on demand? Is the HICAS fully engaged and operational? Have the fuel injectors been replaced/upgraded? Do the rear speakers work? Thanks.

I drove many of these back in the 90's when I worked for a Nissan dealer. Absolutely brilliant cars. Underrated in today's market. This looks like a fantastic example in a stellar color. Will be watching with great interest.

    Hi everybody.
I hope that you like this, to me, beautiful very quality Sport car. To me it's a very unique piece that called my attention from day one. This model together with his contemporaneous; Toyota Supra and Mitsubishi VR4 Twin Turbo also made history in the Sport Automotive Industry. They, (Japanese Automotive Industry), clearly showed, one more time, their capacity, ability and high end technology in order to produce and compete in the highest level, with all the other makes of Sport High end cars around the World.
On top of that and after owning quite a few European Sports Cars that I had and even that my Background is Italian and I am a fan and owner of a "Cavallino", I have to say that this an many other Japanese products, are way much more reliable, durable and better engineered and more sophisticated products that the ones that are more famous and definitively more expensive and also, famous for demanding very high and more than often, services and maintenance.
Even that they are no longer cheap as they use to, they still are very affordable and most important, they provide you with the ability of servicing as a daily driver if you want to. That's something to keep in mind. You can still drive them every day!!
No only to have one, but to enjoy it whenever you want and or at your desire.
    Think about it.
Thanks for your time and I hope that you Fellows stay safe and sound. But most important....Bidding on my cars!!!....
    The very best,
    Principe
