Up for auction is this Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet. The 944 S2 paid homage to the Turbo by using its upgraded suspension and more aggressive cosmetic features.  From 1989 to 1991, only a limited 2,402 Cabriolet variants were produced. This unique and sought after example is being offered in turn key condition out of Dallas, TX.

The white paint is stated to be in excellent driver-grade condition.  The paint is also stated to be original to the car with the exception of the front bumper cover and driver's door.  This 944 is equipped with original 16” alloy wheels that wear a fresh set of Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's.  The blue top is said to be in excellent cosmetic condition, though it is currently operated manually due to a cable needing replacement. 

The sporty yet luxurious blue leather interior shows extremely well as per the gallery photos.  The dashboard is fully intact with one minuscule crack and the newly installed Boxster leather seats show very limited wear (original seats included).  The 944 S2’s interior is the true definition of a touring car.

Power comes from a number's matching 3.0L double over cam 16-valve head inline-4 cylinder engine that produces 208HP and is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission.  The seller reports that a timing belt service was performed within the past 2k miles.  The car was also completely looked over for any issues of which none were reported.  It is stated to be in excellent running condition.

944's are becoming more and more collectable as time goes on. Don't miss the opportunity to own a turn key example in a very sought after color combination. 

The sale will include a Carfax report, AutoCheck report, all books, service records, and keys.  Please note that there is a branding issue on the Carfax.  A clean title and Auto Check will help dismiss this issue.
