Available for auction is this 1991 Mercedes-Benz C124 300CE finished in Black over a black leather interior. Beginning in the 1990 model year for North America, the 300CE was equipped with Mercedes' new M103.980 inline-six engine derived from the European-market 300CE-24 sport model. This 1991 example was originally sold by Cherry Hill Motors of New Jersey and remained under the care of its original owner up until 2016. It comes equipped with automatic climate control, cruise control, electrically-adjustable front seats, a power sunroof, and a Becker cassette stereo. Recently serviced and with approximately 76k miles showing on the odometer, this C124 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Michigan.
This C124 comes finished in Black (040) with grey lower body cladding and chrome accents. Areas of the car appear to have been previously refinished and the factory 15" alloy wheels come dressed in Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires dated from 2010-2011. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features black leather upholstery with matching carpets and decorative burl wood trim on the center console, dashboard, and door panels. Amenities include a power-adjustable steering column, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Becker Grand Prix 2000 cassette stereo, power windows, and power-adjustable front seats with driver's memory. The seller notes the climate control vacuum reservoir was repaired along with replacements of the left-front window motor and regulator in August of 2021.
The 3.0L 24-valve inline-six-cylinder engine produces up to 217 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque and drives the rear wheels by way of a four-speed automatic transmission. The CARFAX report highlights 20 maintenance records dating back to a 15k-mile service in 1999. More recently in September of 2021, an oil and filter change was completed along with the installation of new spark plugs. A corresponding service stamp is present in the original maintenance log.
This sale will include a set of two keys, the original owner's manuals, and a clean title.

Hi!
Always garaged.
I’m the second owner.
It was never driven in the winter either, when it was in New Jersey the owners went south and garaged it.
Hope that helps

Nice CE! Do you know about the car's history? Was it garaged in under your ownership and in NJ? Unclear on Carfax...are you second owner or original owner?
