Now up for auction is this impeccably well preserved 1991 Mercedes-Benz C126 560SEC finished in Black Pearl Metallic over a grey leather interior with Burl wood trim.  Based on the S-Class sedan, the C126 was offered by Mercedes as a luxurious grand touring coupe with the top-of-the-line 560SEC version being equipped with a 5.6L V8 engine.  Marking the model's final year of production, this 1991 example was sold new from Ed Potter Mercedes-Benz of Ohio at an original cost of over $84k.  It is said to have been cared for by two private owners throughout its life while being kept in superb highly original condition.  A true collector grade example, this 560SEC is now being offered for auction by its seller in Missouri while showing only 29k miles on the odometer.

The Black Pearl Metallic paint is described to be in fantastic original condition, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery.  The sleek-look of the C126 coupe is accentuated by its distinctive pillarless window design.  This example also features front fog lights and factory 15” light alloy wheels that come dressed in Michelin Premier A/S tires.

The cabin is trimmed in grey leather with decorative Burl wood veneers throughout.  Factory features include automatic climate control, central locking, electrically adjustable front seats and steering column, a heated rear window, and a high-performance sound system.  The interior is said to be in excellent shape with all gauges and accessories working properly including the original Becker Grand Prix radio.

A 5.6 L fuel-injected V8 engine sends 238 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 4-speed automatic transmission.  Other mechanical features include power-assisted steering, a self-leveling fully independent suspension, and power-assisted disc brakes with ABS.  The rear actuators for the self-leveling suspension are reported to have been previously replaced and all other routine maintenance is said to have been addressed.  A recent oil service was performed, and the seller has offered to accommodate a pre-purchase inspection for any interested bidder.
