This 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet comes finished in Black over a Matador Red Special Leather interior. It was further optioned with a limited-slip differential, cruise control, power seats, and an amplifier. Purchased by the current owner in 1995 at just under 26k miles, this example is said to have undergone an engine and transmission refresh approximately 15 years ago at 57k miles at Ryan Imported Car Repair of Northampton, Massachusetts. Showing less than 64k miles on the odometer, it is now being offered for auction on dealer consignment out of Ohio.

This 964 is finished in Black with a matching soft top and rides on factory 16” Design 90 wheels dressed in Continental ExtremeContact tires from 2022. Equipment includes front fog lights, a raised third brake light, and an electronically activated rear spoiler. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with desirable Matador Red Special Leather upholstery spanning the seats, door panels, and center console, contrasted by a black dashboard, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and upper door cards. Matching red and black floor mats with Porsche lettering completes the look. Optional features include 8-way power seats, cruise control, and an amplifier. The seller adds that an aftermarket head unit has been installed and notes minor seat bolster wear along with slight separation on the dashboard.

This Carrera Cabriolet is powered by an air-cooled 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine rated at 247 HP and 228 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a G50 5-speed manual transmission and an optional limited-slip differential. The seller adds that the engine and transmission were refreshed approximately 15 years ago although no supporting documentation is available. Service completed in June 2023 reportedly included new tires mounted and balanced, upper & lower valve gaskets replaced, an oil change, and a new starter installed. More recently, items carried out in November 2023 are said to include the power steering and brake fluids flushed. The seller also reports minor oil leaks from the engine and the functionality of the R12 air conditioning system has not been confirmed.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and an air pump.

    @Remy10 -
    There are definitely a few photos taken from different angles/in different lighting that make the colors look very different - while there is some very slight variation in shade and wear throughout the interior, the variation in color you're seeing between some of those photos is not accurate - that is due to lighting.

    If you're talking about the "marbling" that is present in the leather, that is a feature of the Matador Red special leather - there is natural variation within the leather itself; it's not like the later Boxster or Carrera Red that was a solid color throughout.

    Is it the light, or is the interior color uneven in places? Nice looking 964.
