Finished in Guards Red over a Cashmere Beige interior, this 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet features an optional 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission paired with its 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine. It was sold new to a resident of Malibu and was purchased by its next owner from Santa Monica in 2018 who performed a major engine-out service and reseal. A lifelong Southern California car, this 964 is now being offered for auction with approximately 107k miles showing on the odometer.
This 964 is finished in Guards Red (L80K) with a black power-operated convertible top and matching tonneau cover. Equipment includes integrated fog lights, power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a raised third brake light, and black Porsche-branded brake calipers mounted behind 16” Design 90 alloy wheels. New Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires were mounted in 2018. The seller notes the car has always been garage-kept and was recently detailed with a ceramic wax product. A small crack is noted on the rear spoiler as well as a scrape on the left lower front valence. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Cashmere Beige interior features optional power-operated supple leather seats, a black four-spoke leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, and a central locking system. Other accessories include tan carpet floor mats with red Carrera script and an aftermarket stereo.
An air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 247 HP and 228 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed Tiptronic transmission that allows for automatic and manual gear changes. The seller indicates the engine was removed and resealed in 018 along with a valve job, transmission service, and installation of a new blower motor. The aluminum convertible top frame has also been repaired with serviced with new cables.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, a battery charger, an aftermarket Jensen amplifier, a CD changer, an Alpine antitheft system, and a clean title.

I am the second owner of this wonderful vehicle which I have always kept it covered and garaged. The tires are fairly new with less than 10K miles on them. It has had a recent oil and filter change. The top is in great condition. The exterior is in great shape for the age of the vehicle.”

I noticed a very very small leak on the right bank that landed on the muffler. No puddle under the car

A65, AC ran cold today. There is a very very small leak on the right side of engine. No trans leaks.

The car is driven on PCH around Malibu and the A/C has never come into question but we will definitely give it a test and a clarification tomorrow.

@A65 The A/C works great. The engine runs smoothly. The transmission was out of the car and all filters changed and serviced when the oil leaks were addressed. There has not been any body work as shows on the Carfax.
No suspension upgrade. All the instruments and lights work correctly. The car is a very honest car as a 2 owner car and cared for greatly.
If need be, a PPI can be achieved.
