I've posted all of the service records from the 3 years it has been with the current owner. When this was purchased from the dealer back in 2021, nothing in terms of past service records were included.

Thanks nate2046, this does seem to be the case here. ebehne- Although there was no DELPHI gray tag and the factory sticker was nearly impossible to read - I did confirm that this is a CIS car and that the wiring harness is original (perhaps the date code is 31291). I am assured by my mechanic (who has a '92 and '95 300se- he had to replace the '95's harness) that the wiring is not at risk of biodegrading on this car. I will add a couple more pics I took while under the hood this morning.

The early 90-92 cars with CIS don’t have the biodegradable wiring harnesses. That came with the LH-Jetronic in ‘93.

Ok thank you. The harnesses should have date codes on them, top harness tag is likely visible under the plastic engine cover. Much appreciated.

Are there any other maintenance records outside of the car fax? Thanks!

I wanted to note that we sent the all of the hydraulic cylinders to Top Hydraulics in Florence, OR for the rebuild.

  • NatePerry1126 (seller) 1 monthago

ebehne, I looked through the service records and found no indication that the engine wiring harness had been touched. I can only say with certainty that the harness predates current ownership of 3 years.
As for the clearcoat, it is certainly early stage and isolated spots, all I could find are in the images. I may be misdiagnosing it? Suffice to say, any imperfection in the paint or clear coat is pictured in the listing.

  • ebehne (registered bidder) 1 monthago

Also any detailed photos of the clear coat failure would be appreciated

  • NatePerry1126 (seller) 1 monthago

Let me see if I have anything to indicate the age of the harnesses, ebehne. I'll get back to you.

  • ebehne (registered bidder) 1 monthago

Can you comment on the age of the engine wiring harnesses?

  • NatePerry1126 (seller) 1 monthago

    Thanks for bidding!
Please let me know if I can try and answer any questions that come up.
