Restored and modified with custom backdated bodywork by Olsen Motorsports in 2017, this 1992 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Coupe features an upgraded 4.0-liter flat-six engine paired with a short-ratio 5-speed G50 manual transmission. The car is finished in metallic purple paint over custom dark grey leather and Alcantara upholstery. It has been equipped with a MoTeC ECU, Jenvy individual throttle bodies, a limited-slip differential, JRZ coilovers, Brembo brakes, an external oil fillerport, LED lighting, backdated gauges, a MOMO steering wheel, keyless entry, electric air conditioning, and 17” Fuchs-style wheels. Purchased by the seller on PCARMARKET in May 2023, the car has since been fitted with power-adjustable Recaro sport seats and reupholstered matching door panels. This one-of-a-kind 964 backdate is now being offered for auction out of Florida with under 3k miles driven since the build was completed.
The custom backdated bodywork includes a carbon fiber long-hood nose section, roof, fender flares, and bumpers. The roof rails were shaved, and an external oil filler port was installed on the right rear fender including a custom RS Spyder wheel center lock-inspired cap. The car was finished in a custom purple metallic paint color and decorated with grey Porsche script side stripes, polished door handles and window surrounds, a custom metal decklid grille, 9Eleven Raven S LED headlights with halo DRLs, dual exhaust pipes, and 17” Fuchs-style wheels. New Michelin Pilot Sport tires were mounted in November 2024 and the exterior is covered by a layer of clear paint protection film. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features dark grey leather and Alcantara upholstery including new power-adjustable Recaro sport seats and matching door panels that were fitted under current ownership. Accessories include carbon fiber trim pieces, an Alcantara headliner, a carbon fiber MOMO steering wheel, a carbon fiber shift knob, backdated VDO instrument dials, Rennline aluminum pedal covers, an aluminum handbrake, aluminum door handles, a fire extinguisher, keyless-entry, electric air conditioning, and a Porsche Classic stereo system.
The air-cooled M64 flat-six engine was rebuilt and upgraded to a 4.0-liter displacement by Olsen Motorsports including an 11.5:1 compression ratio, CP thermal coated pistons, Nikasil-coated cylinders, Ninemeister billet heads, Euro RS-style camshafts, 51mm Jenvy individual throttle bodies, and a MoTeC M-130 ECU. The engine also features dual oil coolers, a Green Cars oil pump, and a custom dual exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt 5-speed G50 manual transaxle with Bill Rader Motorsports close-ratio gears and a limited-slip differential. Upgraded Brembo slotted disc brakes have been installed and the suspension has been modified with JRZ RS One coilovers, BBI billet uprights, and Elephant Racing links. The seller notes the car was maintained by RUF North America under their ownership including electrical work and an oil change in November 2024.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a no-expense-spared build with a completely new interior, recently serviced with new tires and fluids.”

Trying to better understand this Outlaw/Backdate Market. I would estimate this build has already exceeded over $500,000 including the cost of the 964 donor. When you purchased this backdate May 23 someone posted call 911 highway robbery !! A+ quality build, with your recent additions. The last 7 years this car spent close to 4 of them in production. I've seen too many of these A+ quality builds sell short of investments by significant $$$ Dollars. This is definitely a $ 1/2 million investment today that I hope sells for it's true value. The Outlaw/backdate market today is in it's infancy. Values must show signs of improvement, so we can see more of them in production. Great build. Thanks
Just noticed an error in the listing regarding the concealed sub woofer, amplifier and speakers. The sub woofer and amplifier have been removed. The speakers have been changed out as well. It still has an ample sound system in the car in addition to the orchestra located just behind the rear seats !
sadly I've never see this car around Naples but wow, what a looker. love the color - GLWA
There should be places to mount them beneath the trim, but it is not an easy task to get back there. The front passenger seats need to be brought forward all the way for access.
@jjensen - would it be possible to re-fit rear seat belts and buckles or were those removed during the initial build?
I dont see any cut outs or places where they were retained. TY
@raceya1990 I shipped the car to RUF in Miami to do some electrical sorting, It also got an oil change and 4 new tires. The receipt for what was done is included in the listing. can you please provide an update of the 80K in enhancements you added during your 1 year of ownership. Also it says the car was maintained by RUF of North America during this year.... is this in Miami with Esteban the North American Ruf director .....
@650max I believe it does have heat !
@JJensen who manufactures the electric AC
@JJensen adding $80k on top of $275k!? Wow! Why? Nevermind. Insane. Hello DT.
@650max re. heat, I think photo 78 shows the heat exchanger on the exhaust with duct going forward.
@JJensen I think it benefits you and the bidders for you to go "on and on" : )
There's a lot of history to this build that would best be elaborated upon to attract serious interest.
These auctions are fueled by facts.
Does the car have heat?
I quote " it's got aDC-19 camshaft in it. If it had a DC-70 cam it would be 370 HP. We chose more torque for better low end grunt " 335HP to the Rear wheels is correct.
Beautiful restoration!
Just curious: what's the estimated hp?
Checking with Tim Olsen on the question of RWHP.

@Damaho912 I have invested an additional $80,000 in this car since I purchased it. I have receipts for everything done. I has a complete new interior including fully adjustable seats, electric A/C with two condensers both fan driven. All the carbon fiber trim was all custom ordered. I could go on and on !
