Up for auction is this 1992 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet finished in the traditional combination of Guards Red over Black leather.  This 1-owner 1992 example has been preserved in excellent, highly original condition with a logbook kept throughout the car’s lifetime documenting all of its activities.  Featuring an accommodating automatic transmission paired with an air-cooled 3.6 L flat-six engine, this stunning 964 Cabriolet is now being offered on behalf of its original owner out of California with just over 52k miles showing on the odometer.

The Guards Red finish is said to be in very nice original condition with a recent paint correction carried out to ensure the best possible appearance.  The Cabriolet top is said to be nearly perfect and a very small crack has been indicated in the finish on the front hood (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).  The factory C2 5-spoke wheels are said to be in good shape with Michelin Defender tires installed in 2018.

Inside, the Black leather interior is reported to be in great condition with all gauges and accessories working properly.  An aftermarket Kenwood radio has been installed, although the interior is said to be otherwise stock with the original Porsche wind deflector included in the sale.

This 964 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6 L type M64 flat-six engine which is rated at 247 HP.  A refined Tiptronic automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 6 seconds.  All routine maintenance is said to be up to date and the seller confirms that the oil and filter will be changed upon sale. This 964 is also reported to meet California emissions standards.

This sale will include a set of 2 keys, the original books, tools, and air pump, a Porsche wind deflector, a 20-page logbook, service records, and a clean title.
