Up for auction is this rare 1992 Porsche 964 Turbo presented in Grand Prix White over a Cobalt Blue leather interior. Representing one of only 309 US spec Turbos imported for the model year, this 1992 example remains one of the most collectible air-cooled Porsche’s of all time. Having had a recent PPI performed by the technicians at Parkhaus, this well-documented 964 shows approximately 64k miles on the odometer and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
The Grand Prix White finish on this Turbo is shown to be in impeccable shape. The seller indicates that aside from the hood and doors, this 964 has been professionally refinished for cosmetic purposes (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). In typical Turbo fashion, this 964 showcases a widened fenders as well as a distinctive Tea Tray rear spoiler. This Turbo rides on a set of 17” alloy Cup wheels which come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The Cobalt Blue leather interior remains in excellent condition with some typical wear showing on the factory shift knob. Noteworthy features include factory power adjustable seats, an Alpine head unit with upgraded aftermarket speakers in the doors and rear shelf. The seller confirms the air conditioning to be operational along with all other gauges and accessories.
An air-cooled 3.3L turbocharged flat-six engine sends 315 HP to the rear wheels by way of numbers-matching G50 5-speed manual transmission with limited slip differential. 0-60 is achieved in approximately 4.5 seconds while reaching a top speed north of 170 MPH. Records indicate that a factory recommended 60k mile service was performed in 2011 and a new battery was also installed in July 2019. The seller confirms that an oil and filter change was performed in June of 2020 less than 5 miles ago. Reported to be up to date on all scheduled maintenance, this 964 is being offered in excellent driving condition.
The sale of this Turbo will include two keys, an air compressor, service records and a copy of the window sticker. Do not miss this incredible opportunity to get behind the wheel of a beautifully preserved and tastefully appointed 1992 Porsche 964 Turbo
