Introduced at the 1989 North American International Auto Show, the first-generation Viper was designed in-house at Chrysler by Tom Gale. It served as Dodge's modern interpretation of a roadster, with inspiration drawn from the Shelby Cobra. This 1993 example is finished in Viper Red over a gray leather interior and features an 8.0-liter V10 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, soft top, and rear window, 17” aluminum alloy tri-spoke wheels, an independent suspension, and more. This Viper benefits from recent maintenance and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania showing approximately 4k miles on the odometer.

The 1993 RT/10 features composite bodywork over a tubular steel space-frame chassis. Additional features include zip-up vinyl side windows, a forward-opening clamshell hood, and side-exit exhaust outlets. This Viper comes finished in Viper Red (PRN) with a matching hardtop and rides on 17” aluminum alloy tri-spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2022. The seller adds that the removable soft-top and rear window will accompany the sale. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin features gray leather upholstery along the bucket seats, dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel mounted in front of a 180-MPH speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. Additional equipment includes a gauge cluster showing coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage, along with a heater and a Sony CD stereo.

Powered by an 8.0-liter OHV V10, the Viper sends up to 400 HP and 465 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, with acceleration from 0-60 MPH factory-rated at approximately 4.3 seconds. Equipment includes power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The seller states that maintenance in June of 2022 included repainting the valve covers and replacing its gaskets, the head gaskets, cylinder head bolts, radiator, thermostat, serpentine belt, battery, air filters, and spark plugs & wires. “Smooth” air-intake tubes are also said to have been installed.

This sale will include a clean title, a removable soft-top, a removable rear window, a set of chrome-finished 17” tri-spoke wheels wrapped in Firestone Firehawk tires, some documentation, and a Sony remote for the stereo.

@nba19002 I couldn't stop laughing at the amount of wiggling this dude does. I feel like I've seen this driving video before from these guys.
HP on this one is 400. They got 450 in the Gen2 Vipers and 460 for the Gen2 ACRs 1999-2002

    That’s some serious stick wiggling.

@Collectibleclassics, Can you please explain if this has any modifications to the exhaust. I understand they’re inherently loud but that smacking sounds like it’s modified and the video sound quality was pretty bad on my end. I thought it sounded like you started to say it was in fact straight piped. GLWTA, I’ll be watching.
