This 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe is among the last models produced in the 964 series and is said to have been originally used as a “Werks” car by the Porsche factory. The car’s first owner was a professor who worked at the factory as the Head of Engine Development and was featured in the December 1991 issue of Excellence magazine. In 2001, this 964 was registered in the Netherlands where it was routinely serviced by Porsche Center Eindhoven until 2014. It was later customized as a Carrera RS tribute in 2016 and features a DP Motorsports carbon fiber hood & ducktail spoiler, Fuchs-style wheels, a lightweight RS-style interior, an RS clutch & flywheel, RS motor mounts, a 993 mass airflow meter, a remapped DME module, a Cargraphic 964 Cup muffler, RS sway bars, Bilstein RS shocks, and a Rennline short shifter. Benefitting from a top-end engine rebuild completed within the last 5k miles, this custom Euro-spec 964 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina.
Finished in Grand Prix White, this Carrera 2 has been customized with an RS-style ducktail rear spoiler, a front chin spoiler, and grey-painted mirrors, headlight rings, and front brake cooling ducts along with matching double racing stripes. The seller notes both the hood and ducktail spoiler are high-quality pieces made from lightweight carbon fiber by DP Motorsports. It rides on aftermarket 17” forged Fuchsfelgewheels dressed in Continental tires. The seller notes the hood was previously refinished and the exterior remains in excellent overall condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing fire damage to have occurred in 2019.
The black interior has been customized with a MOMO three-spoke steering wheel, Recaro Pole Position racing seats, and RS door panels with cloth pull straps and manual window cranks. The rear seats have been removed along with the center console, dashboard knee bar, radio, and air conditioning system. The seller reports all remaining accessories are working properly.
This 964 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine that was originally rated at 247 HP and 228 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed G50 manual transmission. The car has been upgraded with a lightweight RS clutch and flywheel as well as an RS single fan pulley, 964 RS motor mounts, and a 993 mass airflow meter with a Cartronic LM 220 Performance remapped DME module. The exhaust includes a Cargraphic 964 Cup muffler with an open catalytic converter. The car also features a Rennline short shifter, upgraded RS sway bars, and Bilstein RS shocks which are lowered by 2.5cm. The seller indicates a top-end engine rebuild was completed within the last 5k miles. Corresponding service records are provided in the gallery along with a spreadsheet documenting the build and all parts removed/added which indicate an overall weight reduction of approximately 220kg.

The cushions in the seats are simply held in place with velcro so can easily be removed - 2 on the seat and 2 on the back. With the cushions in place, the distance from the back of the seat bottom (where it connects to the back) is 36.5" to the header. With the cushions in place, the distance from the back of the seat cushion (again where it connects to the back) to the brake pedal is 41.5". The seat cushions are about 2" thick and the back cushions are about 1" thick so if removed you'd gain some more space.
Are the seats in this car closer to the floor than the stock seats?
I ask because I'm 6'6" and don't fit in this generation of 911 in its original configuration.
Would you be wiling to measure the distance from the bottom seat cushion to the headliner?
If you're up for it, I would also like to learn the dimension from the seat back cushion to the pedals.

@reinyb I don't think she will pass CA smog as she currently sits. Even if she passed the sniff test, without the cat she would fail the visual inspection (and I probably would not tell the smog inspector that the car never had a cat as it was a euro model --that would only bring up more problems! LOL)

@JC688 I don't have the seats/belts, or AC components. There is no rust on the car. After your comment about the headliner, I went back and closely inspected it, and there could be some light water mark present but I had never noticed anything prior. I've never had the car out in the rain since I have owned it so can't say if it leaks or not. However, it hasn't leaked when I've washed the car and would be surprised if it does leak. I also just tried to open the sunroof for the very first time after your comment and it is inoperable. The motor runs so the cable is likely detached.

Do you have the removed rear seats, seat belts and AC components? Any rust?
What caused the headliner stain? Any leaks from the sunroof?

I've seen this question a lot on enthusiast forums so am guessing CA must be pretty strict. I have never lived in CA and am not familiar with their smog rules so, unfortunately, can't say.
Do you think this car will pass California smog rules?
@Ssort New carbon fiber hood, bumper cover, air ducts and turn signals. New battery, obviously, as well as Rennline battery mount kit and switch. Replacement spare tire. The area was then sandblasted and repainted along with the hood and bumper cover.

@Ssort There was a small fire, which started from a faulty battery. It was contained within the frunk. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures but it was promptly extinguished.
