We are pleased to present this 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster finished in Viper Red over a grey leather interior. Unveiled at the 1989 North American International Auto Show, the original Dodge Viper was created as a visceral modern roadster inspired by the Shelby Cobra. This 1994 example was acquired by the seller in April 2020 and has since undergone service, paint correction, and installation of a new hardtop. Showing under 21k miles on the odometer, this Viper is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The composite molded fiberglass bodywork comes finished in Viper Red with a color-matched “double bubble” removable hardtop. Additional features include dual side-exit exhaust pipes, integrated front fog lights, and 17” aluminum alloy tri-spoke wheels. The car rides on a set of Michelin tires from 2021 and the exterior has undergone paint correction and ceramic coating within the last two years. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cockpit features two manually adjustable sport seats trimmed in grey leather with a matching center console, dashboard, and door panels. A true purist’s sports car, this first-generation Viper offers only basic amenities including a glove box, a 12-volt outlet, a speaker system, and a suite of analog instrumentation. Air conditioning was also first offered in 1994. The seller notes light creasing as well as signs of wear on the driver's seat bolster. All gauges and accessories remain fully functional, although the seller reports poor audio quality from the original speakers.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 8.0L V10 engine which was developed in collaboration with Lamborghini. As much as 400 HP and 465 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels by way of a Tremec T-56 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The CARFAX report includes 8 service history records dating as far back as 2002, and maintenance carried out by the seller since April of 2020 includes an oil and filter service, new spark plugs, tires, and a new air filter.

@snakeWrangler that is correct, the intake tubes were upgraded and oem replacement k&n drop in filter was added. Everything else including the exhaust is stock.

The exhaust sounded stock, can you confirm it? Also the intake has the smooth tubes, are there any other modifications from original?
@Viperman14 sorry it does not have the soft top/windows, Just the double bubble hardtop pictured and a soft cockpit tonneau cover.
Does it have the soft top and softtop OEM windows?

Being a manual is the first line of defense against theft as well. ?
@snakeWrangler Paint Correction is a cleaning and polishing process to make sure the surface is consistent and any minor swirl marks or clear coat imperfections are polished out prior to applying the protective ceramic coating. This ensures the coating bonds to the paint surface properly and increases the longevity and depth of the finish.
Good catch on the small red light in the center console.. That is a period correct passive alarm. The fob on the keychain activates and deactivates it.
