DT-Direct 17k-Mile 1994 Fiat Coupe Turbo

Now available is this 1994 Fiat Type 175 Coupe 16V Turbo finished in Chamonix Green over a Black leather interior. Launched for the 1994 model year, the Fiat Coupe was assembled by Pininfarina featuring a turbocharged 16V engine, a later version of Fiat's twin-cam design used in the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale. This launch-year example is said to have been cared for by the same Fiat dealer in Italy before being imported to the U.S.  It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing approximately 27k kilometers (17k miles) on the odometer.

This Fiat Coupe comes finished in Chamonix Green and was assembled by Pininfarina in Turin, Italy. The Type 175 was styled by Chris Bangle, who would go on to become the first American Chief of Design for BMW Group in 1999. The seller describes the finish to be well preserved while showing minor imperfections including a chip on the hood and a scuff on the passenger-side fender, detailed images can be found in the gallery. This Fiat rides on 16″ alloy wheels dressed in a set of Pirelli P Zero tires.

Inside, you will find a Pininfarina-designed black leather interior with a strip of body-color trim running the width of the dashboard featuring a polished Pininfarina badge in the center. Equipment includes power windows, air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and cassette radio. The seller confirms that all gauges, lights, and accessories remain fully functional.

Power is supplied by a 2.0L 16V turbocharged four-cylinder engine which produced up to 187 HP and 214 lb-ft of torque when new. This iron-block dual overhead camshaft design also powered the Lancia Delta Integrale to six World Rally Championship titles in a row from 1987-1992. The front wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle and a Viscodrive limited-slip differential. The Type 175 Coupe features an independent suspension front and rear with a Macpherson strut configuration in front. The service history is limited, although the seller reports no warning lights or outstanding maintenance items at this time. Some documentation is provided for reference in the gallery.

This sale will include some documentation and a clean Florida title. With its legendary powertrain and unique styling, the Fiat Coupe Turbo is well on its way to becoming a collectible modern classic. Now is your chance to own a launch-year example with just over 17k miles traveled from new.

I used to own a 20v turbo version when I was in Europe, loved it, poor mans Ferrari :)
The 16v falls short on power in my opinion, its a weighty car from what I recall, didn't handle so well in the corners, great straight in a line. I found parts were very expensive, as was maintenance. This is a great color and nice interior with the low miles. Still very pricey for what it is. GLWTS
