Now available is this rare 1994 Porsche 964 Speedster finished in Black. Carrying on one of Porsche’s most iconic traditions, the 964 generation Speedster was introduced in 1993 in a limited series of 936 examples built in total, of which only 427 were designated for the U.S market. Showcasing a custom upholstered leather interior and unmistakable Speedster styling, this 964 is now being offered by its seller out of Florida.
This Speedster is finished in black with a manually operated black soft top. Following tradition, this Speedster features a shortened windscreen frame and signature hump-shaped fairings over the rear section. This 1994 example is said to have always been garage kept and detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Custom orange-painted brake calipers can be seen behind the factory Cup Design wheels which come dressed in Firestone Firehawk tires showing date codes from 2020.
Inside, there was no expense spared in outfitting the Speedster with a custom reupholstered interior. The upper and lower dashboard has been wrapped in black leather with decorative orange stitching. The upgraded 993 hardback Sport Seats feature matching orange stitching along with the FVD steering wheel, and custom RS-style door panels. Carbon fiber trim has also been added to the dashboard, center console, door panels, and instrument surround. White-faced Porsche 993 instrument dials have been installed along with an aluminum Porsche 996 shit knob and brake lever, orange seatbelts, and an upgraded sound system including a Kenwood radio and MTX speakers. As the odometer has been changed, the true mileage remains unknown.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine produces up to 247 HP which is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-Speed G50 manual gearbox. An upgraded mass air flow meter has been installed and the seller reports no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
This sale will include a clean title (mileage exempt). One of the rarest and most collectible variants of the Porsche 964, this customized Speedster awaits its next owner.
