The Audi RS 2 Avant was designed as a joint effort between Audi and Porsche as a limited-production high-performance sports estate. The Avant's longitudinal dynamics were enhanced by Porsche's motorsport expertise as Audi's first RS model debuted with the most robust version of Audi’s inline 5-cylinder turbocharged engine. One of approximately 2900 examples built, this 1995 RS 2 comes finished in Ragusa Green Metallic over a black leather interior. Reportedly cared for by two previous owners, it is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Switzerland showing about 148km (or 92k miles) on the odometer.
This RS 2 came factory-finished in Ragusa Green Metallic (LY6P). Based on the B4 Avant, the RS 2 features unique details from Porsche including its 993-inspired bumpers, distinctive aero mirrors, subtle Porsche side emblems, red Porsche-branded brake calipers, and 17” Cup wheels shared with the 964 Turbo. It rides on a set of Michelin Pilot Alpin tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin sports black leather and grey Alcantara accented by carbon fiber trim. Features unique to the RS 2 include its 3-spoke leather steering wheel, white instrument dials, and Recaro sport bucket seats. The seller reports all gauges and accessories are working properly.
The RS 2 is equipped with a version of Audi’s 2.2-liter inline 5-cylinder engine that was specially tuned and modified by Porsche for an output of up to 311 HP and 302 lb.-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox sends power to all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro system, while the Porsche-supplied brakes provide excellent stopping power. The seller adds that the original service book shows entries from 1996 to 2002.
This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, and the original service book.

@Mikeyy39 Hello, we are cery sorry but we are traveling at the moment and the car is currently in our storage. We do not have paint meters to share right now. However we can certify that the front bumper, front hood and rear bumper have been resprayed once due to stone chips from highway usage and the rear bumper due to a scratch. Doors, fender and roof are original. The paint is in very good shape as the car was subject to a multi stage detailing with polish and ceramic coating.
On another topic the full underbody was treated every two years with Brunox to prevent corrosion.

@Mikeyy39 Hello, The headliner is brand new, as it is the case with most RS2 it was sagging a bit so we have had it re done by an upholster. A picture has been uploaded showing the headliner.
