Powered by a 2.8-liter inline-six engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, this Japanese-market 1995 Mercedes-Benz E280 AMG Limited Edition comes finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over Anthracite leather (271A). It features a host of AMG-specific upgrades, including revised bumpers, fender flares, exhaust, interior appointments, 17” AMG BBS Aero II RT wheels, and much more. Imported to the U.S. from Japan in January 2022, this left-hand-drive E280 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia with less than 68k kilometers or approximately 42k miles showing on the odometer.
This example is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744U) and features an AMG bodykit including front and rear lower bumpers, integrated front fog lights, fender flares, extended rocker panels, twin exhaust outlets, and badging. Other features include an electric sunroof, clear front turn signal lenses, a monoblade windshield wiper, asymmetrical side mirrors, and a power-retractable antenna. The car rides on 17” AMG BBS Aero II RT multi-piece wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle tires from 2019. The seller notes that the passenger side quarter panel has been refinished and mentions some minor imperfections on the driver’s door and fender. Additionally, the right-side grille insert of the front bumper is missing. Detailed photos are available in the gallery, along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, occupants are greeted with Anthracite leather (271A) upholstery complemented by burred walnut root wood veneers. Equipment includes factory power-adjustable Recaro Sports seats, a leather-wrapped Sports steering wheel with a power-adjustable column, a leather-wrapped gearshift lever, power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning. Other details include an AMG-branded speedometer and doorsills. The seller notes the cigarette tray latch is broken, and the stereo does not turn on.
Power comes from a 2.8-liter M104 inline-six engine generating 190 HP and 199 lb.-ft of torque stock. The rear wheels are driven by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The seller adds that an aftermarket muffler has been fitted, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
This sale will include a clean title, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a first aid kit.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a very clean and very smooth-running car with plenty of power. The next owner will really enjoy driving this car!”

@lfix997 the holes are not large enough to make it that loud. The car does have an aftermarket catback exhaust on it which is why it is so loud.
@Archer1 I wish we did but we have not had much luck trying to find one. I'm hoping there is someone here that has more knowledge than me that can answer that.
Hello. I assume the “exhaust is a little loud” comment in the inspection is due to the holes? Thanks for posting that inspection report btw. Very useful.

@ Wolf13_1977 (seller)- Nice E280; do you know where to source the missing grill insert?
@Magicalmachine Same hole just from a different angle.

@wolf13_1977 so 90 is hole in exhaust, what is image 91? thanks
@lfix997 It is a small hole in the exhaust. As for the radio as far as we know it is jus the radio. The car does not have any other electrical issues.
Hello, is the crack on pic 90 in the exhaust? Also, is the non functioning radio a radio issue or something else electrical? Looks like a single DIN, “easy” replacement with a newer unit is possible.
@Wolf13_1977 Thank you! Great to know
@DaddysGirl83 we can do that for you.
Hi! I’m interested, but want to know if the dealer has the ability to store for a few months for the winter before shipping to New York? Thanks 🙏
