Finished in Guards Red over a Cashmere Beige interior, this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.6-liter flat-six engine. The car came factory-equipped with optional Sport Suspension, a limited-slip differential, Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), electrically adjustable Sport Seats, an electric sunroof, and 17” Cup 2 wheels. It was purchased by the seller in 2022 and has since undergone service and upgrades including all new belts, ignition components, valve covers, a new mass airflow sensor, Alcantara interior upholstery, matching powder-coated wheels, “Big Red” Brembo brakes, KW V3 adjustable coilovers, RS suspension bushings, urethane steering rack bushings, and a Rothsport short shifter. This 993 is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This 993 is finished in Guards Red and equipped with headlamp washers, fog lights, power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, upgraded red brake calipers, and aftermarket wide oval exhaust tips. The factory 17” Cup 2 wheels have been powder-coated in Guards Red to match the exterior and were mounted with new Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires in 2023. The seller indicates some areas of the exterior have been refinished including the bumpers and decklid. Some rock chips are noted on the front bumper and other forward-facing surfaces. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a damage-free CARFAX report.
The Cashmere Beige interior has been customized with matching Alcantara upholstery on the dashboard, center console, door panels, and rear parcel shelf. Accessories include optional electrically heigh-adjustable Sport Seats, a black leather four-spoke steering wheel, power windows, a central locking system, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Rothsport short shifter, and aftermarket Kenwood head unit paired with an amplifier and upgraded speakers. The A/C evaporator and condensers were upgraded under current ownership. Some signs of wear are noted on the carpets and the seller indicates the seat bolsters have been re-dyed.
Rated at 272 HP, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, an optional limited-slip differential, and an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD). The optional Sport Suspension (030) package was equipped at the factory and the suspension has been modified with KW V3 adjustable coilovers, Elephant Racing "RS" front uprights and tie rods, OEM RS suspension bushings, and adjustable sway bar drop links. Upgraded urethane steering rack bushings have been installed and brakes have been upgraded with 993 Turbo “Big Red” Brembo calipers paired with new rotors, pads, and sensors. Under current ownership, the car was also serviced with new belts, spark plugs, distributor caps and rotors, ignition coils, a mass airflow sensor, valve covers and gaskets, a new fuel filter, air filter, and oil filters.
This sale will include a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, and a clean title. The CARFAX report shows a Not Actual Mileage title was issued in 1995, although the seller contests that this resulted from a DMV clerical error.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a 'jump in and go anywhere' car. So much fun to drive with modernized suspension and brakes and its peppy 3.6 sounds great. I personally love the soft-back sport seats over the hardbacks - they're snug yet easy in/out. The RS-like suspension with solid sub-frame mounts gives this car a much more spirited feel than the typical 993 while doing away with annoying bump steer and squishy characteristics. Everything works great in this car and the AC blows cold!”

This 993 has been massaged by one of the best 993 restorers/builders in the Porsche world. It's a well-sorted example cosmetically and mechanically. And the suspension setup gives this car a feeling of being glued to the road. Bid with confidence.
Is the car being sold as exempt with miles or actual miles? In reviewing the CarFax provided, it appears the Florida title is showing actual miles.

@marcz Thank you
@L1MTD I am obtaining the paper title in the morning and will post. Thank you!!
Is there a way to get a photo of the title to confirm it doesn’t indicate a branded title?
The tires were replaced in the fall when the wheels were powder coated red

Thanks for the clarification on the title question.
Maybe I’m not seeing it correctly but I see an application for title in the photos but not the actual title shown, without any note that it’s indeed branded. Happy to be wrong and maybe I’m not seeing correctly.
Side note and more of a basic question, but couldn’t Florida DMV be asked to update or notate that since mileage is not necessary for the year of the car that this should no longer show up in their records or on a carfax?
For clarity, the title is NOT BRANDED. I’ve added a picture of the electronic title to the listing which clearly shows it is clean.

Why is the title "branded"?

@CLR and @ mdistbmw those are accessorie and USB connectors for the stereo. Was installed by prior owner presumably for a phone holder that’s since been removed. And, yes, there is a microphone on the steering column.
Yes, the Alcantara can be removed. It’s simply glued on and probably a lot of residue cleanup but can be done.
Also curious about the microphone thing in #91. Is this something for the aftermarket head unit?
@marcz - Thanks for the responses. Is the alcantara removable or permanently affixed?
And sorry about the image #, no clue where I pulled 124 from. mdistelbmw is asking what I meant - #92
In pic 92 there is a cable poking out from under the dash, what is that for?
@CLR
I build, restore, and service air-cooled Porsche. So this car has been my personal car for the last two years and since it's not an absolute perfectly owned car, I thought it would benefit from some fun improvements.
-The dash showed a couple small cracks, we repaired them and thought the Alcantara would add a nice touch.
-Sorry, the original shift knob is gone, however would not work with this new lever.
-Sorry, the only documentation I have is my own receipt of the work we've done and the Carfax
-Yes, a lot of nice improvements that I think anyone will really enjoy.
-Sorry, not sure what cable you're seeing pic pic #124......can you be more specific?
Thank you!!
In addition to my other questions below:
- Is the alcantara upholstery removable? Was this added purely for aesthetics or was the factory dash, etc. damaged?
- Seems like a pretty extensive amount of upgrades under current ownership. Curious of the reason all this work was done and then sell?

Hello and thank you for looking at this great 993! I've owned a few of them and my shop, of course, works on them regularly, and this has been one of the best driving 993s. I think it's particularly interesting and fun to own a car with such an early build date of March 1994!
I'll be adding an invoice showing all the work and parts we did on the car during my approximate 10k mile ownership. Unfortunately no prior documents were supplied to me when I purchased.
Please feel free to direct any questions my way, and the car is available for viewing prior to auction close by appointment.
do you have the OEM shift knob?

A “not actual mileage” notation is certainly not a branded title. It happens all the time here in New York for all sorts of reasons including clerical laziness, illegible penmanship, etc. Calling it a branded title implies something altogether different and more serious. — Matt
- Is the odometer reading in 1995 really what resulted in the branded title? I've never seen that before. Any further info on the odometer other than suspecting it was a clerical error?
- Any service records to show?
- Any chance the original shifter comes with the auction?
- What is the cable in #124?
