Originally built as a Cabriolet, this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera has been transformed into a Speedster-style build using a combination of genuine 964 Speedster and 993 Turbo components. Finished in Guards Red, it features 18” Speedline-style wheels, a C2S split-grill decklid, Turbo S rear quarters, Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, sport mufflers, and a custom black leather interior with carbon fiber trim and RS-style bucket seats. Part of an esteemed Porsche collection in Beverly Hills under prior ownership, this bespoke 993 Speedster conversion was acquired by the seller on PCARMARKET and is now being offered for auction out of California with under 29k miles on the odometer.
This Speedster conversion features a shortened windscreen and double-hump tonneau cover sourced from a 964 Speedster, along with 993 Turbo S rear quarters with integrated air scoops, a Carrera S split-grille decklid, and 993 Turbo bumpers, rockers, and fenders. The car has been refinished in Guards Red and rides on 18” Speedline-style wheels with polished outer lips and grey-painted centers. Additional details include Turbo S front fog light inserts, dual exhaust outlets, headlight washers, red-painted brake calipers, and a '993' rear model designation. Professionally built to reflect the specifications and knowledge behind the only two factory-produced 993 Speedsters, this example has been displayed at numerous Porsche events by its previous owner. The seller notes the exterior remains in very good overall condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The custom black leather interior features red deviated stitching, carbon fiber RS-style door panels, and RS-style bucket seats with Guards Red-painted backrests. Additional details include red seatbelts, black carpet floor mats with red '993' embroidery, Speedster-logo door sills, aftermarket pedal covers, and carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, center console, and instrument surround. A custom Speedster-logo tachometer is fitted, along with a three-spoke steering wheel, gear knob, and parking brake handle, all accented with carbon fiber. The rear seats have been removed, and the radio is deleted in favor of a carbon fiber cover. Amenities include power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, and a central locking system. All gauges and accessories are reported to function properly, though the seller recommends inspecting the A/C system.
An air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 272 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The car has been modified with aftermarket sport mufflers, 993 Turbo "Big Red" Brembo brakes, and upgraded Bilstein PSS10 coilovers.
This sale will include a clean title.

@raceya1990 That is correct if you win the auction and bank don't fund for you not a problem you know Marlon had a buyer at 300k last year and I turned it down was not interested to sell and this February had a health scare and wife want's me to unload some of my collection thats the only reason it's up for auction or I would just keep it don't need to sell. Thanks
Attention all bidders! As the clock ticks closer to the end of the auction, I wish all bidders good luck. This is truly an incredible car and a lot of time, money, and effort went into the conversion of this vehicle. A car like this is very expensive to duplicate and parts for this kind of car is very difficult to find. I am here to answer any final questions, so please do not hesitate to ask.
@raceya1990 Yes, that's who I bought it from. Marlon knows me and he is an amazing Porsche Mechanic/shop. The car was an extremely expensive build.
i just reviewed old emails and in uly 2023 i was working with a guy Marlon Goldberg in Beverly hills who was selling this car from a large collector Stanley Golds Collection.... i have entire album on this car and all the paperwork.... small world.... i assume you bought this from them? this was a almost a 500K build .... based on the paperwork i saw....
shy, i spoke to JJ BEST and the bank they will fund this car on the principle that the TITLE is in fact clean as stated and represented by both you and PC MARKET..... so the only way a sale would be VOIDED is if your title is not clean. Its unfortunate though bc of the theft despite a clean recovery is always going to result in a tarnished title and the next buyer ( hopefully me) will had this issue when the time comes that i want to sell it .....
Carfax cant change or expunge this ... i asked my porsche dealer and stolen/ recovered cars always result in salvage classification
@rrysedorph Hope all is well with you buddy this car gets a lot of attention you will never see one on the road I show it at cars and coffee in Malibu miss my M3 hope you taking care of it.
@raceya1990 No problem understood.
if you click the carfax attached to this listing above the SALVAGE status appears posted in 1998 due to theft.... theft will always trigger salvage classification ......
I remember this car from 5 years ago it was in beverly hills i know this car well
I just again confirmed with my Bank they wont touch any car with a salvage title
@raceya1990 Title is posted check it out. Thanks
@theiii I beleive the Porsche dealer fixed the carfax post it back in the day. Thanks
Just looked at the Carfax, I don't see a salvage title listed on there??? Glad issue was fixed
@raceya1990 Morning just talked to them they are gonna list the clean title shortly because I'm not allowed my self to post Pcar has to and thank you for the patience.
morning still waiting on proof of clean title ...... this carfax is really posing a problem
@rrysedorph @shy wow small world. Both of your cars could potentially be titled in the same entity and share the same warehouse in Alabama.
How’s it going @shy, my buddy Tripp is bidding on this one. Great seller here, guys.
Still loving my ESS M3
@shy so i cant send you my email as its not allowed can you suggest to PC market how to proof and show clean title
Bid in the amount of $162,000
@raceya1990 send me your contact information and I will send it to you
can you please update me on clean title proof as JJ best has me all set for this auction but they need proof of clean title.... if you want you can send to my agent proof.... we are running out of time ... thank you
Bid in the amount of $161,000
@lefcz26657 ignore last response. The car comes with a clean Montana Title. the car will pass California smog.
@lefcz26657 The car comes with a clean Colorado title. The car will pass smog is California.
@993TTRS the rear fender air ducts do not connect to the brakes. it is just inside the fender. we do not have photos of inner fender with wheels of and liner removed. i will see if i can get that for you on monday
Are the rear fender air duct directed to brakes? or just inside fender only? are the inner fender liners cut out to duct air to rear brakes or engine? Do you have photos of inner fender with wheels off and liner removed?
@raceya1990 I just reached out to pcar and asked if they can send it to you.
@raceya1990 I will have to ask Pcar if I can post the title so stay tuned my friend just FYI title is clean.
@closingtime It came with the car.
Bid in the amount of $160,000
The 993 body design is perfect for a Speedster conversion. Where are the stainless "Speedster" sills from?
can you send picture of the clean title or post picture ...?
thank you for all your respones... i am still waiting on the clean car fax ..... the typical banks i use, Wood side, JJ best, Premiere, are not willing to fund a salvage title vehicle.... and this is still what the car fax is stating....can you provide any updated proof of a clean title that would override the car fax reporting and satisfy the banks?
Car registered in CA? If so, assume it passes smog with the existing exhaust? (not a deal killer)
@Kazzerrr Thank you, and I appreciate your compliment on this 993 conversion. The person who built this car was very articulate and precise in his decision-making and construction of this car.
@jimmied Thank you for the kind words. This is truly a one-of-a-kind Speedster conversion, and the new owner will be impressed by the quality and driving experience of this vehicle. I'll check out the speedster conversion you mentioned.
Possibly the best looking 911 ever only my opinion. I have a 993 Speedster conversion that is blue and it is an absolute blast to drive. Looks like this was done the right way with no expenses spared whoever buys. This car is a very lucky person.
Wow! This a beautiful example of 993 Speedster conversion.
If your tastes run more to the early 911, I recently saw another beautify Speedster conversion (based on a ’73 Targa) that is currently listed online at European Collectibles.
@raceya1990 FYI we just posted more photos and function of the convertible top.
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@raceya1990 Yes, the vehicle is all steel OE 993 Turbo S fenders and quarterpanels. I don't believe there are spacers on the rear but I will double check. I believe normal speedlines are 18x10 on the rear, these are 18x11 speedlines. When I put it on the hoist, I'll get photos of the under carriage as well as check if there are spacers.
the turbo s fenders are OEM so they are steel fenders and vents not fiberglass....? and are those spacers on the rear wheels or trailing arms to accomodate the deeper dish wheels? Can we get more under carriage photos too
@raceya1990 I will contact carfax because car was just striped no accident what so ever, it was a perfect car to convert to 993 speedster do to low mileage and perfect 993 so stay tuned. Thanks,
thank you but again i am concerned that carfax shows as salvaged title so are you able to expunge this classification with carfax ? is this doable
@raceya1990 Morning Title is clean and it takes two to do the soft top and it's mint condition and it's like identical 964 speedster all parts are off 1994 speedster all function are like 1994 speedster very expensive build and I'm reaching out to the previous owner to comment on the stolen/salvage title from what I know they stripped the original top when it got stolen that said title is clean.I will try to post a full video of top function when it stops raining in Los Angeles. Thanks
hi again please comment on status of clean title as carfax says otherwise.....salvaged??? also how is the soft top.... condition, does it store and close like the traditional 964 speedster? does it take 2 people to close the top? as i live in NE and we have rainy spring and summers ..... any leakage in the top?
thank you again for your consideration
please can you advise status of title is it salvaged? add states clean title but carfax shows salvage title of theft...
can you clarify
thank you
@Tripp Thank you.
@shy I'm sorry to hear that.

Please, if there are any questions, I am happy to answer. Good Luck to all bidders!

Bid in the amount of $150,993
This is a great car. I first saw this 993 in Excellence and bid on it the last time it was for sale. Why did you decide to sell it after 1 year?
