Representing the final evolution of the air-cooled Porsche 911, the 993 generation showcases technical advancements and an updated visual perspective with a newly designed light alloy subframe paired with coil and wishbone suspension. This inaugural year 993 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Grand Prix White and features an optional 4-speed Tiptronic transmission. Having spent much of its life in California until 2017, this 1995 example is now being offered for auction by its second owner out of Connecticut with approximately 40k miles showing on the odometer.
This Carrera is finished in Grand Prix White with a contrasting Black cabriolet top. The 993 features a rear lid with an automatically extending rear spoiler, anodized black Carerra script, a taillight panel with red-reflective Porsche lettering, orange front and rear direction indicators, Cup-design mirrors, black-painted brake calipers, and a dual exhaust system with oval tailpipes. The seller adds that the wheels have been powder-coated black, the cabriolet top and mechanism were replaced in 2017, and new headlights were installed in 2022. Higher paint meter readings are found on the driver’s side rear panel, although no paint work has been reported. The seller notes a 2mm flaw was touched up, and a paint imperfection is present on the front bumper as depicted in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, you will find a black partial leather interior with power-adjustable seats, air conditioning, cruise control, power mirrors, and power windows. The seller adds that the Porsche audio system was updated in 2018 and the cabin has been well-preserved with all gauges and accessories working properly.
This Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine rated at 272 HP and 243 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. This 993 benefits from an engine-out service in 2018, along with services in 2022 including automatic transmission insulation foam replaced, a new A/C compressor, and new brakes. @Cward2 there is no programmable key fob, just key light. The image 63/145 is dirt, not rust. There is no know rust that I am aware of along the front fender as well.

2 quick questions. Looks to be a very early 1995 production so luckily no programmable key fobs? Hopefully not, they are a PITA. On the door jamb picture with the manufacturer's statement (80/81?) in the seam by the fender there appears to be red/brown dirt in that outer seam? Just to be certain, that's not rust?

I am the second owner, and this vehicle has been serviced yearly with several updates (cab top, ac compressor, brake/tires, headlights, etc). An extensive records list has been provided. The vehicle has been stored in a temperature controlled garage for the last 6 years duration, and originally from California.
