This 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Black over a matching interior and equips a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its air-cooled 3.6-liter engine. The Black partial leather interior includes an optional 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat and features a removable cabin wind deflector, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, cruise control, automatic climate control, an aftermarket center console armrest, and a modern Alpine stereo paired with upgraded speakers. The seller notes some wear on the driver’s seat bolster and that all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine was rated at 272 HP and 243 lb.-ft of torque when new. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. An upgraded Fabspeed Sport Cat X-pipe exhaust has been installed which is claimed to add up to 16 HP and 19 lb.-ft of torque per the manufacturer’s website. The car’s original dealer-stamped service booklet is included along with additional maintenance records from previous ownership. The CARFAX report shows CV boot(s) replaced in 2020 as well as new clutch master and slave cylinders, timing cover gaskets, and a brake fluid flush in 2018. The seller adds that an oil change was recently carried out as well.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, some documentation, and a clean title. The CARFAX report shows a potential odometer rollback which likely resulted from a clerical error during state inspection. The seller states that the mileage displayed on the odometer is accurate.

As the last day of the auction has arrived I would like to thank everyone for your phone calls and online inquiries. Remember like my last 911 auction a couple weeks ago the guy who called me after the auction lost out because he was “waiting” and the 964 he flew in to see and drove for an hour and a half slipped through his hands.

@jbtuckermd anytime. Carfax is odd. I see it often as a dealer yest some shops or inspection stations don’t get the info uploaded or their software if they use one isn’t working properly. But honestly this particular situation was easily missed by the prior owner. And like most of us a detail on a form which they never saw. Thank you for your understanding and I hope if you stay in the game you are satisfied.
@993tts30 Ah, thanks for that clarification. I thought you were the owner when that occurred, and the light goes on in my head that the mileage error likely happened prior to the carfax warning entry. Got it. I appreciate your responsiveness.
@jbtuckermd not being defensive sorry if you took it that way but it is on its history as a slight discrepancy most likely as you can tell from a service writer. Likely the owner never noticed it, If it was a year or two later that would be a different story. But it was with in a few days. Since I did not own it then I can not give you any other answer than be guided by it’s overall service history. I never want anyone to buy one of my Porsches and not be comfortable I represented it as truthfully and the best I can. Some buyers could care less on a nearby 30 year old car with less maintenance history/documentation. I’m comfortable the miles were not rolled back and there are no huge gaps of time on its services, I mostly like knowing it’s books were not fiddled with. But that’s me.

@jbtuckermd if it not being crashed and that bit of discrepancy within a such short time bothers you it’s not for you and you should look elsewhere. The miles and long established service history certainly reflect the miles are accurate. However i prefer
not to sell it to you and have this be an issue which bothers you. Thanks for your earlier bid.
@993tts30 Seems so but subsequent entries don’t reflect return to accurate mileage.
@jbtuckermd it looks like within two weeks the miles were probably written down wrong by a service technician. As you can see every other service interval report certainly reflects it wasn’t driven much.
Looking at the carfax report I’m trying to determine how the odometer issue was a clerical error if the mileage reported subsequent to the rollback alert hadn’t reflected correct mileage after the issue in 2018. Please explain to me, as I otherwise remain interested in the car
