Up for auction is this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe finished in Polar Silver Metallic over a black interior. As the final generation of the air-cooled 911, the 993 is favored by many Porsche enthusiasts for its balance of visceral driving characteristics and modern refinement. This 1995 example has been under the care of its original owner from new and comes factory equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, 8-way power-operated seats, and an Exclusive Light Rootwood shift knob. Having undergone a major engine-out service and reseal within the last 5k-miles, this 6-speed 993 Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Minnesota while showing approximately 73k well-documented miles on the odometer.
This 993 is finished in the special order color of Polar Silver Metallic and the car is noted to have been garage-kept throughout its entire life while only driven during the summer. The rear bumper was previously refinished for cosmetic purposes and a small blemish is also reported on the passenger side rear quarter panel, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This Carrera rides on factory 17” Cup 2 wheels with facotry optional colored Porsche center crests. The Continental Extreme Contact tires are reported to have been mounted at 71,742 miles in 2019 along with a fresh wheel alignment.
Inside, you will find a black partial leather interior with factory 8-way power-operated seats and an Exclusive Light Rootwood shift knob. Other factory features include cruise control, a sunroof, and a sound system. An aftermarket Pioneer radio has been installed and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.6 L flat-six engine capable of producing 272 HP. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission which allows this 993 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds. Renowned for its handling capabilities, the 993 generation featured a revolutionary alloy multi-link rear suspension as well as an improved power steering system and larger brakes. This 993 is said to come with service records dating back to the original purchase including a major engine-out service and reseal carried out in 2016 at a cost of nearly $10k. The clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder were also replaced during this time. The original owner is said to have spared no expense on proper maintenance.
This sale will include the original owner's books, roadside warning triangle, first aid kit, orignal bill of sale and the original owner's clean title. CARFAX shows two previous owners due to a change of registration, although the seller confirms this to be a true one-owner car. Do not miss out on this excellent opportunity to own a very well preserved, one-owner Porsche 993 Coupe.

Congratulation looks like you got keeper
@1974gtv Not crazy money. Crazy money is buying a depreciating asset, like a new Porsche. Your car is going up in value. Think of it as another asset class.
I’ve owned my 1974 Alfa GTV since 1979. I’m taking them both to my grave.
Sold for $77,000
@1974gtv Congrats! Well done. So beautiful.
Crazy money, but my lovely wife was by my side encouraging me. Life is short. :-)

@mellen63 I will get you those pics today.
Pure and simple--a fabulous classic sports car. Wow. Love Polar Silver. Cup 2s are great. Late-'95 MY build means no basket handle (which I don't mind).

ALSO CARFAX DID CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE ON CARFAX AND IT NOW SHOWS AS A ONE OWNER WHICH IT IS.
@asamuel302 Its actually the only one that I have ever seen too. It is a microphone for a phone. It can just be taken off if you want. It is just clipped onto the seat belt.
Quick question. I'm not familiar with that device that is hanging off of the driver's seatbelt. What is it?

Also I did submit the original title and all paperwork to Carfax and they said that they would correct it to a one owner. I will post once that is corrected but buy with confidence that this car is a one owner. I can put you in contact with the original owner who we got it from also.
@asamuel302 There is no signs of any bubbling or rust at all. The windshield frame is in fantastic original shape on this car and does not show any signs of problems. This car was stored properly during the winter months here and only brought out to play when the weather was nice.
@porsche_dreamer I did post all the paint meter readings with Pcar and they should be uploading those soon.
How is the paint around the windows? Any signs of paint bubbling or rust?

@hdarth Thank you.
You are right, it is not PTS. But then again, many "metallic" paints can be considered special order.
Do you have paint meter readings?
Beautiful car and good luck!
I have the original title and original bill of sale from when the car was new and all records going back to new all in the original owners name. Pcar market will be posting those soon they when I last contacted them. MN had a switch in their whole dvs system and for some reason when new registration for the car was issued in 2018 They put it down as a owner change but it was not. I have the original title issued on 07/25/95 with 45 miles on it and the same gentlemen owned the car the whole time. Also it does not say that it was a PTS color it just says it was a special ordered color. I did not tell P car Market it was PTS but they just listed it as a special order because the original sticker shows it as a $1036 option. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask because I have every single document on this car going back to day one. The car is a very stand up totally unmolested car that has been maintained and driven by a 75 year old individual who traded it in with us on a new Porsche. I have over 37K in records to prove the love that has gone into this car. I am also going to reach out to Carfax to get the record of ownership changed. If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Why does Carfax say two owners?
In 95, polar silver metallic was a standard colour, not PTS.
What else in the description might be incorrect?????
