As the last generation of air-cooled 911’s, the 993 holds a special place in Porsche history. Up for auction is this 2-owner 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe. Up until last year, this car remained in the hands of the original owner and is stated to have been properly cared for since new. With a recent engine re-seal, 6-speed manual transmission, extensive documentation, and a few tasteful upgrades, this 993 offers an excellent opportunity. It is now being offered out of Pennsylvania in excellent condition with 75k miles on the odometer.
The Guards Red paint is stated to be in excellent condition bearing very little wear. The only noted blemish is a slight fading on the windshield molding. The seller reports that a new OEM seal will be provided with the sale. Bespoke to the 993 model, the car is equipped with factory 16" five-spoke wheels that wear a set of new tires.
Inside, you will find a sporty yet luxurious black leather interior. The seats are finished in special ordered supple leather and are paired to factory options such as AM/FM radio and a remote 6-disc CD changer. The previous owner installed a Sony head unit in place of the original although both will be included in the sale. All functions of the interior are in excellent working order. Only minimal wear is showing on the front seats on this otherwise pristine interior.
This Carrera retains its original 3.6L flat-six engine. The car produces 270HP that is delivered the rear wheels via a 6-Speed manual transmission. This already bulletproof engine was recently re-sealed to ensure a seamless driving experience. Additionally, the car received new belts, distributer cap and rotor, new plugs and wires, A/C re-charge, engine oil, transmission oil, all new filters, new Bosch battery, and a new sunroof motor. The car is stated to be in excellent running condition.
Boosting the performance and driving experience of this 993 are a handful of tasteful and upgrades including HR lowering springs, RS clutch kit, light weight flywheel, Wong chip, Fister transmission mount, Wavetrac lsd, new front pads/rotors, and a stage 2 muffler upgrade.
