Now available for auction is this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Speed Yellow over a black interior. Representing the final generation of the air-cooled 911, this 993 features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a 3.6L flat-six engine. It was acquired by the seller from its original owner out of California in 1997 at just over 7k miles and was reportedly used as a display model to showcase custom wheels in the original owner’s store. It currently rides on a set of vintage Antera wheels and features custom carbon-pattern interior trim, TechArt pedals, an aluminum shift knob, and an upgraded Alpine radio. Now with just over 28k miles showing on the odometer, this 993 Cabriolet is being offered for auction by its longtime owner out of New York.
This 993 comes finished in the desirable nonmetallic shade of Speed Yellow with a black power-retractable soft top which was replaced in 2013. Aerokit-style front splitters have been installed along with 18” Antera 5-spoke wheels. The exterior exhibits cosmetic imperfections including road-going wear on the front end, a dent on the passenger-side door, curb rash on the wheels, and some cracks in the rear bumper, detailed images are provided in the gallery as well as a clean CARFAX report. The aftermarket wheels come dressed in a set of mixed Bridgestone and Continental tires.
Inside, you will find a black partial leather interior lined with custom carbon-pattern trim. An upgraded Alpine radio has been installed as well as a custom aluminum shift knob to match the upgraded TechArt pedal covers. Signs of wear are depicted throughout the cabin including creasing on the power-operated front seats. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
This 993 Carrera is powered by an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine rated at 272 HP. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission. The CARFAX report highlights services dating back as far as 1998, and the clutch is said to have been replaced in 2017.

@Bd71500 you can see the AC in photo# 44 and Re the small dent, that comment comes from Pcar market , whose photographer I hired to do the photos/video …and I suppose they’re referring to a small dent that I think I see at the bottom of the right door under the handle, visible if u expand picture #20 , but I don’t know anything about it

@MAPC All I can say is that I did not have it professionally cleaned inside ..it is stored at my uncles place in New Jersey and I had him tidy it up a bit …but there’s no tears in any fabric or anything that I am aware of

Yep I used to be a fixture out in Bridgehampton a decade or more ago…now mostly in Westhampton…the car is being stored at my uncle’s garage in NJ right across the River. So if u want to visit it there , let me know.

After almost 25 years, I am selling this beauty because I am moving overseas to Cyprus where they have cars with the wheel on the right side of the car, like in UK, or else I would take it with me. I'll miss the stares and the compliments from fellow Porche owners. I bought the car in LA in 1997 and moved to NYC in 1998 and the car has been used only seasonally on weekends in the Hamptons, putting on maybe 1000 miles a year on it. I am not a Porche expert, but glad to answer any Qs I can. Oh, and it has two operative sets of keys/fobs.
