Acquired by the current owner in 2018, this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe has undergone a custom RS-inspired build by TuneRS with classic Gulf Orange paint and a bespoke grey leather interior with orange stitching and two-tone houndstooth cloth inserts. The engine received a top-end rebuild and was upgraded to a 3.8-liter displacement featuring custom cylinder heads, RS sport camshafts, a tuned ECU chip, long-tube headers, and a valved GT3 muffler. The car has been modified with 993 Turbo “Big Red” front brakes, a Bilstein PSS10 coilover kit, and a lightweight RS flywheel. The exterior is customized with an RS-style front splitter, front brake ducts, a custom rear bumper, a ducktail rear spoiler, genuine lightweight RS rear glass, and 17” Fikse three-piece wheels. The custom-upholstered interior features 997 power sport seats, MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, RS-style door panels, a custom roll bar, a custom shift knob, and a modern Blaupunkt radio. Said to have been driven under 6,500 miles since the project was completed in 2019, this professionally built 993 custom is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This Carrera underwent a complete glass-out repaint in the classic 1970s Porsche color of Gulf Orange and has been modified with a three-piece RS-style front splitter, genuine RS rocker panels, and a classic RS-style ducktail rear spoiler complemented by a 1980s 911SC decklid grille. The front and rear bumperettes have been deleted for a Euro-spec appearance, and a custom rear bumper was installed to accommodate the dual center-mounted GT3 exhaust tips. Other details include front brake duct inserts, satin black painted mirrors, custom-made 964 door handles in satin black, a “3.8L” grille badge, new OEM headlamps, OEM Euro-spec taillamps and side markers, Euro-spec clear corner lenses, custom gloss black painted brake calipers, and genuine lightweight RS rear glass without a defroster or third brake light. This 993 rides on satin black 17” Fikse FM5 lightweight three-piece wheels with 2021 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/45 in front and 265/40 at the rear. Additional images are provided in the gallery.

Accessories include a three-spoke MOMO Prototipo Heritage steering wheel, a custom 917-style wood shift knob, black aluminum Rennline floorboards and pedals, and a modern Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB stereo with speakers concealed in the rear shelf. The car retains power accessories, heating, and A/C functionality. The seller notes the vehicle had 105k miles at the time of purchase and the odometer was reset to "zero" upon completion of the build.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox with a lightweight RS clutch, flywheel, and a factory limited-slip differential. The suspension features Bilstein PSS10 coilovers and toe-adjustable rear control arms. Stopping power has been upgraded with 993 Turbo “Big Red” front brakes, braided stainless-steel brake lines, and SRF fluid. The seller adds that routine fluid and filter changes have been kept up to date since the build was completed.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The current owner has enjoyed this vehicle since project completion in 2019. He has only put around 6400 miles total, with a smile every time he used it. It's now time for the next person to enjoy this awesome 993.”

@UnlimitedRPM 6k miles on the build?
@twickes40 not sure about the question, but we offer vehicles as complete builds. Custom work like this is hard to replicate nowadays with increasing costs of parts and labor.

@mfacks AC blows cold

@Blue_GT3 , We don't have any photos from the 07 report. The vehicle was fixed prior to TuneRS acquiring and commencing the build. We will put it on scales today and take a photo of the weight and upload it to the advertisement.

Have you guys weighed this car after the build? What’s the total weight?
You guys have photos from when the accident happened in 07?
Beautiful car. Well done.
@Craignyc it was a scrape on the rear left fender, since then the car was completely repainted in 2018 prior to the build completion in 2019 and is still in perfect condition
@PorschePhanatic14 I will have more videos uploaded from the in-car perspective.

And in car driving videos to hear thetransmission shift and engine revs?
Is there any info on the accident that was reported in 2007?
@993RSR the block was not bored to accept the 3.8l pistons/cylinders they are the slip ons which have a compression ratio of 11.4:1 and still retains hydraulic lifters (this was a top end engine build). The LSD was rebuilt not even 500 miles ago! The original parts of this 911 are not included and is being offered as the build.
Are the cylinders 107mm slip fit or 109mm? Is the compression ratio 11.3:1 or 11.8:1? Looks like the stock rods were retained? Hydraulic or solid lifters? Has the LSD been rebuilt? Are any of the original parts (door handles, lower dash, ect.) included in the sale?

@MaikoR, this is NOT a salvage or rebuilt title vehicle, it is a clean title in that sense (It is branded because of the mile discrepancy). When sold to the customer back in 2020 the mileage was set to 0 to show the miles after the build was completed (currently 6500 miles).
Hi seller, I saw the branded carfax, is the title clean or branded? Thanks
Hello everyone! We uploaded some of the build photos to the gallery. We are currently uploading to Pcar videos of walk around, cold start, exhaust note (open/close valves) and drive bys.

@Blue_GT3 , the build was done by TuneRS Motorsports in Coral Springs, FL from start to finish.
Whats the name of the shop who did the paint, interior work, and engine.
Videos will be uploaded by later today. Photos are available of the build which will be uploaded as well!
All new seals around the car when it was painted, including the sunroof seal. This build was finished in 2019.
The sunroof seal that is on the car will be replaced before delivery to the buyer. The white appearance it has is from a previous detail wax, but we will put a new one. It was removed during paint process anyways to answer your question.
The seats were chosen by the owner during the build as he wanted as much comfort as possible. So a set of 997 factory sport seats with full power were chosen. A lot of our clients that come to us with GT / RS cars usually remove their buckets and put comfort seats to make them more of a grand touring vehicle. Seats can always be changed, and made custom to your liking!
Thanks for your questions!
Do you have any videos that you can post?
Any photos of the build process when apart? Any chance to upload some videos showing the vehicle, cold start and driving? New seals when repaint? Sunroof seals looks out of place/painted in photo, was a new one installed or left in when painted? Thanks
Nice build, but those are some really heavy seats for an RS-inspired car...
Bid in the amount of $50,259
Ok
@BobD926 , The roll bar is a 4 point bolt in, custom made to match to the Matter roll bar at the time from the RS. It was built in house by TuneRS for this project.
@MSQ , We say 300hp as we would rather be conservative when stating these figures.
@Sunny , You can source a 3.8 badge through TuneRS if you're looking for one.
Thank you all for the questions and comments.
@UnlimitedRPM this a welded-in rollbar, correct?
@UnlimitedRPM I agree with your 300ish hp # as I had this done to my 97 Carrera S a couple of years ago. It makes a difference. It was not an inexpensive upgrade. IMHO you should include the cost involved to give some perspective on the investment made in this unique offering.
The 3.8 emblem on the grill is a nice touch....could you share the source?
GLWTA......
@UnlimitedRPM That makes sense, I am wondering if it could even be higher in the 320HP range, as I've seen other 3.8's in that range. In any case, either way a great car and seems like a very well thought out build and attention to detail.
Hi everyone! First, please let us know any questions you have on this 993 build!
@MSQ - a 3.8L 993 aircooled normally puts out around 300hp. We did not dyno this vehicle after the build, but we could say numbers will be around that range.
Bid in the amount of $50,000
Looks great. I love this shade of orange, looks better than Lava IMHO. The interior is nice but idiosyncratic.
I have witnessed the build of this very special 993 from the ground up and can attest the amount of exquisite detail, man hours and work quality involved. It is a real head turner and it performs as good as it looks and sounds!!
@UnlimitedRPM Any idea on the HP & TQ numbers on this engine? Looks like a lot of attention to detail on the build.
