The Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was a high-performance variant of the fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro produced from 1993 to 2002, with the 1996 model year representing a mid-cycle refresh. It features a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 engine, a limited-slip differential, and a sleek aerodynamic design. This 1996 Convertible version comes finished in Bright Red over a black leather interior and was first registered in Indiana where it remained up until 2016 before moving to Arizona. Recently acquired by its seller in California, this Z28 is now being offered for auction with approximately 55k miles showing on the odometer.

The fourth-generation Camaro featured a low-slung profile, a sculpted body, and a distinctive front grille. The Z28's badge and rear spoiler were prominent design elements that set it apart from other Camaro models. This example is finished in Bright Red with a White convertible top and rides on 16” Z28 alloy wheels with Camaro-branded hub covers and Hankook Ventus V2 tires. The Z28’s naturally aspirated 5.7-liter LT1 V8 engine features sequential fuel injection, aluminum cylinder heads, and a cast-iron block. It delivers up to 285 HP and 325 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of an optional 4-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Z28 also features an upgraded four-wheel independent suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power comes from power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. All available maintenance history is shown on the CARFAX report including a transmission rebuild and new rear brakes in March 2022.
