The 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition represented the last of the C4 generation and featured a Sebring Silver Metallic finish, 17” silver 5-spoke aluminum wheels, special emblems, and special seat trim. One of 4,031 coupe variants built, this example presents a Torch Red leather interior and features Collector Edition equipment, selective real-time damping, a 5.7L LT4 V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, and much more. Acquired by the seller from a dealer in Virginia in August 2021, this Corvette Collector Edition is said to have been an NCRS Blue Ribbon winner and is now being offered for auction out of California with less than 16k miles on the odometer.

This Corvette is presented in a Sebring Silver Metallic finish with a one-piece removable fiberglass roof panel. Details include power-operated retractable halogen headlights, halogen fog lights, and bespoke Collector Edition chrome badging on the front, sides, and rear. It rides on Collector Edition 5-spoke 17” silver-painted aluminum wheels dressed in Continental Extreme Contact tires from 2021. A set of aftermarket removable mudflaps have been added. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The interior is upholstered in Torch Red Leather with perforated six-way power-adjustable Sport Seats featuring Collector Edition embroidery. Accessories include a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control, power door locks, power windows, and a Delco/Bose AM/FM stereo radio with a clock and stereo cassette tape. All gauges and accessories are reported to be working properly.

This Corvette is equipped with a 5.7L LT4 V8 engine that was factory-rated at 330 HP and 340 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. Mechanical features include optional selective real-time damping, an independent front suspension, a 5-link rear suspension with transverse fiberglass springs, power rack and pinion steering, and power front and rear disc brakes. The seller notes that the car was serviced upon their acquisition in August 2021.

This sale will include a clean title, window sticker, tool kit, and owner’s manuals.

The seller would like you to know: “Hello everyone, thank you for your interest in my auction. I have owned my Corvette since August of 2021. It was purchased back East and I am the 3rd owner. The car is close to immaculate condition and has an NCRS Blue Ribbon. It is one of 164 Collector Editions configured in Sebring Silver with Torch Red Interior, LT-4 Engine, and a 6-speed manual transmission. The car has always been garaged and covered with a battery tender. It's started every few weeks and exercised. I've only put a few hundred miles on it. I'll try to answer questions as timely as possible. Thanks again!”

Thanks as well @daytona49 for answering all my questions and hope you get what you want for it. It's a gem and wish it was in Canada, I would have bought it.

It's all yours to make a deal @diamondmotorworks. The CAD$ exchange rate isn't in my favour compared to US$ plus shipping, duty taxes etc. Good Luck, it's a beauty and hope it goes to a good owner to take care of it. Cheers!

The Blue Glass Roof was damaged by original owner. So you are correct that there are supposed to be two tops. I only got the original Silver Roof that came with the car which is what is shown in my listing. The $1,500.00 was for a different project.
Just had it included on the bill as well. I cannot image the NCRS report. Driving back to CA from NV in the morning.
I'll do my best to answer anything else.
    Thank you all.

Very nice CE. Does the car come with both roofs? It was optioned with the roof package so it should have a glass roof as part of standard equipment. Also the receipt you imaged shows $1500 for paint, was part of the car repainted? Can you image the NCRS inspection report?

@batting Yes, Physically located in California at the moment. Titled and Registered in NV.
    Thanks for the compliment!

@daytona49 this Vette is physically located in CA and titled in NV, correct?
sharp looking C4 CE. I had a similar one a while back except with black interior. This looks much better with torch red interior!

Thank you for caring Flightlevels and taking the extra time to check out what I sent you.
    That's really cool.
Yes, she's a beautiful car that smells new inside and drives like new as well.

  • Flightlevels 5 months, 1 weekago

@daytona49 You are correct my apologies. I owned a ‘94 and the actuator was on top of the shock that rotated the the valve between the 3 different settings. Stunning car someone is going to be very happy.

  • daytona49 (seller) 5 months, 1 weekago

Thank you for the compliment of the radiator picture with the lid. I pulled it off and then forgot to take a new photo.
In regards to the selective ride control , my shocks look the same as this one that's for sale on e-bay.
And when you change my ride control setting to Sport Mode the suspension tightens up and you feel the difference.
Here's the link so I disagree:

Search this on Ebay to find "1996 CORVETTE C4 OEM LEFT FRONT F45 ADJUSTABLE RIDE CONTROL OEM SHOCK"

  • Flightlevels 5 months, 1 weekago

Very nice C4, and these with the ZF6speeds are great robust drivetrains. Two things come to my attention running through the photos. Picture 128 shows your radiator with a soft drink lid stuck in it and secondly, the selective ride control appears to have been removed. I don’t see any actuators sitting atop the shocks. This is very common as these systems are prone to failure and nearly impossible to fix.
