A limited-production Diablo commemorating Lamborghini’s 30th anniversary, the SE30 (Special Edition 30) was offered as a lighter, more powerful, and more visceral version of the standard Diablo featuring a naturally aspirated V12 engine delivering 525 HP to the rear wheels. The car came without a stereo, air conditioning, or power steering and was equipped as standard with an adjustable anti-roll bar, magnesium alloy wheels, a fire suppression system, racing harnesses, and carbon fiber bucket seats from the factory. Finished in Nero Metallizzato, this 1996 example is designated as #144 out of 150 cars produced in total. It was delivered new to Auto Kremer in Bonn, Germany, featuring an optional red and black leather interior with a climate control system, standard seatbelts, and power-operated glass windows. The car remained with its original owner up until 2015 when it was imported to Switzerland by its second owner. Recently serviced by an authorized Lamborghini dealer and accompanied by its original maintenance book, this Diablo SE30 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Switzerland while showing approximately 55k kilometers (34k miles) on the odometer.
The Lamborghini Diablo was originally designed by Marcello Gandini and later refined by Tom Gale at the Chrysler Styling Center. It is characterized by a sleek wedge-shaped profile, prominent air intakes, and signature scissor doors. Externally, the SE30 can be distinguished from a standard Lamborghini Diablo by its revised front fascia with straked brake cooling ducts and a deeper spoiler, side sills with vertically straked brake ducts, rear window louvers, a larger rear spoiler with an adjustable gurney flap, an external fuel filler, and a raging bull emblem mounted to the nose panel. The bumpers, side skirts, front lid, and engine cover are made from carbon fiber. Other details include pop-up headlamps, integrated front fog lights, quad tailpipes, and special SE30 badging. This example is finished in Nero Metallizato and rides on factory 17”/18” OZ Racing magnesium alloy wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero Asimmetrico tires. The seller describes the exterior to be in excellent overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is appointed with two-tone black and red leather upholstery, single-piece carbon fiber bucket seats with contrast piping, and exposed carbon fiber trim spanning the center console, door sills, and rear bulkhead. The driver is provided with a two-tone leather three-spoke steering wheel, a gated shifter with a carbon fiber gear knob, drilled aluminum pedals, white VDO instrument dials, optional power-operated glass windows, an optional climate control system, central locking doors, and an anti-roll bar adjustment lever. The seller notes that the interior remains in excellent original condition with all gauges and accessories working properly.
The Diablo SE30 is equipped with a 5.7-liter V12 engine featuring a specially tuned electronic fuel injection system, high-flow exhaust, modified cylinder heads, and magnesium intake manifolds. Up to 525 HP and 428 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The SE30 came without power steering or anti-lock brakes (ABS) and features Brembo cross-drilled disc brakes, double-wishbone suspension, and an adjustable-stiffness rear anti-roll bar. The seller notes a thorough inspection and service was completed by Lamborghini Roland Afolter in October 2023 along with a local MOT inspection.

The seller would like you to know: “Diablo SE30 number 144 out of 150. Delivered new by Auto Kremer in Bonn Germany in September 1995. Finished in Nero Metallizzato over red and black "Pelle" leather interior. Lamborghini took the already potent Diablo and made it even faster with the SE30. Often nicknamed Lamborghini's "F40" at the time. The new commemorative machine would be an altogether serious affair, tapping into a second trend in supercars, lighter, harder, faster variants that blurred the line between track and road. It was the most visceral Lamborghini yet, a car that carried no Diablo badge, just a charging bull and "Special Edition 30". Compared with the ‘standard’ production Diablo, there was a more angular front spoiler featuring air intakes to cool the slotted brake discs, and a matching one at the rear, the latter lower and more curved at its edges than the optional wing on lesser models and sporting an adjustable-angle central section. The air intakes in the sill panels were wider, segmented by a pair of vertical fins on each side-, and the-wheel arches stuffed full of one-piece, five-hole OZ Racing alloy wheels. This was all part of Lamborghini’s mission to slash weight from the Diablo as it attempted to inject its supercar with the gusto to fight Ferrari’s F40. These were far from the only weight-saving measures however, those handsome OZ wheels – 17in at the front and 18in at the rear – were crafted from magnesium, the interior was pared of electrical niceties and body parts including the sill cover and engine lid were now crafted from carbon fiber. One of only 150 SE30s built to commemorate Lamborghini’s 30th anniversary, and one of the most focused cars ever to roll out of Sant’agata. This example is the only one ever specified in this color combination, and comes with its full documented history and recent service from Lamborghini Switzerland.”

To make it clear with have all documentation on any service or repairs that have been done to this car since 1996. The car is a 1995 model but first registration in 1996 to make it clear. We have no proof or evidence or any signs that this car was involved in an accident. The car has been maintained for the last 5 years by the Swiss importer of Lamborghini and nothing abnormal with this car has been detected or found. Please if you do not have proof or pictures then maybe it is better to refrain and say “pictures of the accident”. You do not own the car, we do. We have personally driven this car over 200mph several times, trust us its an amazing example in perfect order.
@motpot we are not hostile but it is cery strong to say accident when we hold the full history of the car with pictures in period. It is easy to say such comments without back up. Come inspect the car and see for yourself. A bumper respray and a crash are too very different things. Kind regards

I'm not the only one commenting here who has knowledge of an accident. Someone else asked about it, and I have a very well connected and knowledgeable broker in Europe who knows pretty much every Lamborghini over there. He helped me source my 6.0, and also helped me to not buy a number that had hidden/undisclosed stories.
However, I don't have photographic evidence, so you may take it for what it is - hearsay - and choose to do with the info as you choose. This is the beauty of an open comment forum within an auction. Some info is good, some is not. Caveat Emptor, always and forever. I was simply responding as someone else asked about accident details and I am sharing that which I've found out during my research.

The car was never involved in a crash or accident. It was running an after market wing and rear bumper for a while in the late 90s. But then it was put back to original sometime in 1999. The car has been expertised and all its history is documented.

@motpot always better to get informed before assuming. Some SE30s were ordered with the “luxury” package which gave it a full leather interior and normal electric windows. Most of them were fitted with roll ups and alcantara interior. The manual is not pictured here but comes with the car, the SE30 specific supplement.
Why are the windows glass? As far as I know all SE30’s came with rollup plexiglass windows where only a cutout of the window would roll up. Also there should be a specific SE30 manual that comes along with the regular Diablo manual but I don’t see it in the photos. Leather is also a bit unusual for the interior since I thought most SE30s came with alcantara to save weight.
