Up for auction is this 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe finished in Black over a Cashmere Beige interior. Produced between 1995 and 1998, the 993 was Porsche’s last-ever air-cooled 911, and this particular model makes 272 HP from its 3.6L flat-six engine. This example also features a 6-speed manual gearbox with an optional limited-slip differential, an added OEM Turbo spoiler, and factory Light Rootwood trim on the shifter and brake handle. With approximately 134k miles shown on the odometer, this well-kept 993 is being listed by its owner out of Pennsylvania, accompanied by original books, tools, service records, and a clean title.
Outside, the Black finish is reported to be in very good condition with both bumpers refinished for cosmetic purposes and a full ceramic coating professionally applied in 2019. A slight imperfection is indicated on the rear Turbo spoiler and the damage noted on CARFAX is said to have resulted from repair to the B-pillar after an object fell on the car in a previous owner’s garage. This 993 rides on factory 18” Twist wheels that are dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. The seller reports a slight scratch on the driver's-side rear wheel well.
Inside, this example sports a Cashmere Beige partial leather interior with a black dashboard and optional Light Rootwood trim on the shifter and brake handle. Other factory features include power-operated seats, a rear window wiper, and a power-operated sunroof. The cabin is reported to be in excellent condition with new focal speakers and a modern Bluetooth radio installed. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
The 3.6L air-cooled flat-six engine makes 272 HP stock and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with an optional limited-slip differential. An aftermarket air intake is equipped, and the original mufflers have been modified by Pfister for improved sound and exhaust flow. The spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor, valve cover gaskets, and front brakes were all replaced in March 2016. Accompanying service records show proper upkeep and the seller indicates this vehicle to be in fantastic driving condition.
This sale will include a set of two keys with immobilizer fobs, a clean title, owner’s manuals, tools, a spare jack, jack, service records, and a car cover. A nicely optioned and well-sorted example, this 993 makes the perfect air-cooled car for any aspiring enthusiast.

Picture 17 shows a small crack in the lower fog light located on the passenger side. Please note that if you intend to bid - no water enters and the light works with no issues, just a slight flaw but is a flaw all the same.

@Mazzo I did not get a PPI when I bought it given my mechanic in NY was selling the car. No PPI has been done during my ownership. The mechanic did the work prior to my ownership, there is no "record" of that being done given it wasn't done for a customer. I bought it knowing he did the clutch prior to offering it to me. The car is under a cover on tender in my garage and can remain until shipping can be arranged. Completely on board with keeping it safe until that can be arranged.

@Abuong01 Any record or document from previous owner? Any possibility that PPI was done? By shipping I mean I will need arrange a carrier to pick the car if I win. However, would it be ok with you since you will have to be there for a while when the carrier comes to pickup the car. Thanks a lot!
@Mazzo Thank you for the question. The clutch was replaced just prior to my buying it. I haven't driven it a whole lot, thankfully no other services were needed. Can you expand upon the car shipping question?

@whatupgus I lived in Danbury then Greenwich when I bought this car. It was my second Porsche, ended up with 14 cars in 7 years after getting bitten by the Porsche bug. It's an itch you have to scratch once you own one. Had 7 928 (still have 2), 2 944 Turbo and 5 911. Down to 7 Porsche , a 280Z and highly modified Pontiac G8 GT (474 RWHP)

Hey folks: The picture of services done noted in the write up was not posted. Shooting to get that done Monday at the latest. Clutch was done about a year before my purchase, working with Mtech to get a copy to upload asap.
@jnor10 They are 18 inch wheels, the write up is incorrect. Michelin pilot sport A/S 3 tires on 18 inch rims

Correct me if I’m wrong but the description states 17” twists. I believe Porsche only offered the Technology or Turbo Twist in an 18” wheel with the option of solid or the more desirable hollow spoke.

Thank you all for viewing my 1996 Porsche 993. This car is BLACK with 134k miles not Midnight Blue with 123k miles. I bought this from my Indy mechanic in New Rochelle, NY, it was my second Porsche and one of my favorites. The carfax shows some damage which is from a ladder or board that fell on it in the PO garage. The paintwork in the repair area is good other than one spot that appears to be a little heavy at the bottom right hand corner of the rear glass (see picture for details). I had the front and rear bumpers repainted not long after I bought the car to fix the license plate frame area in front and a few bumps and scuffs on the rear. The paint looks great on those two areas. The car has Turbo Tie Rods and new brake light panels, both done when I purchased the car. The driver side bolster is starting to show signs of scuffing (very light) but there are no cracks in the leather.
In July 2019 I had 4 of my cars including this one paint corrected the protected with Flight Shield Ceramic. There are no swirls or holograms in the beautiful paint although there are some small rocks chips and other imperfections along the hood. They are hard to pick up in the pictures but are there. At one point I had 14 cars and this one was not driven much during my ownership, mostly around town, to car shows (Hershey, etc) and one or 2 PCA Club events. I am the 3rd owner, the carfax shows 4 because I moved from CT to PA in 2016 and had to re-title the car. The tires were new in 2016 (Michelin sport tires) and show little wear. The original mufflers are modified by Daren Fister (FD Motorsports in CA) to provide a great sound without any drone or annoying buzz.

I do not have the original deck lid, the turbo decklid was added prior to my ownership.
@JC688 The car has a few miles over 134k, NOT 123k as described in the write up. It's also BLACK not Midnight Blue. I have asked PCarmarket to correct asap.
Great looking car. The write -up says 123k miles and continental tires, but the photos and carfax shows different. Can you clarify?
@Abuong01 - great looking car and one that has been driven! I'm not sure about the write up saying this is a Midnight Blue car - looks black to me. From the quick research I did, Color Code L741 is a Black water-based (non metallic) paint. Can you confirm the color or the write up?
Was the spoiler added after it left the factory? If so, do you have the original spoiler?
