The last of the air-cooled 911 Turbos and among the most renowned sports cars of the era, this 1996 Porsche 993 comes finished in Polar Silver Metallic over Chestnut Brown leather interior. Recently imported from France, this reportedly two-owner 1996 example was acquired by the seller from its second owner who lovingly maintained this 911. This highly original 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Canada showing just under 79k kilometers (49k miles) on the odometer.
One of the most iconic Porsche colors of the era, this 993 comes finished in Polar Silver Metallic and is distinguishable as a Turbo by its wide fenders, red brake calipers, fixed rear spoiler, and 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels. The seller notes license plate holder holes are in the plastic bumper covers which could be hidden by a body shop, although the example is very well maintained. The seller adds that the brown substance seen on the undercarriage is the original Cosmoline protective coating from the factory.
The driver is presented with Chestnut Brown leather upholstery with matching door panels and carpeting. Amenities include a Becker Porsche CDR-21 radio, cruise control, and a power-operated sunroof. The seller reports that all gauges, electronics, and accessories are functional.
The 993 Turbo carries an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine equipped with twin-type K-16 turbochargers, dual-charge air intercoolers, hydraulic lifters, and Bosch Motronic M 5.2 engine management. A 6-speed manual transmission sends up to 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels. The dynamic limited-slip system with Active Brake Differential (ABD) and a limited-slip differential are equipped as standard along with red-painted fixed 4-piston aluminum brake calipers paired with 322mm rotors front and rear. The seller states that service documentation of items carried out by an authorized Porsche dealer will accompany the sale, and there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
This sale will include a clean title. The seller has also offered to facilitate export solutions to international buyers.

@smithvolvo JMS935 is partly correct. You can import a non USA market car once it’s 25 years old. You will pay import duties on it which I believe is less than 3%. Double check that number as my knowledge is not up to date.
But emission requirements vary by state. California is the most difficult with CARB regulations. While some other states don’t check any tailpipe emissions once cars are over a certain age. You’ll need to check your state’s regs.

When you look at the car, there is no evidence that the car has been repainted, the color match is perfect.
