Now available for auction is this 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo finished in Grand Prix White over a Marble Grey and Black leather interior.  This 993 was first sold in the state of Washington before moving to Texas in 2003 and eventually being acquired by the current owner in Oklahoma within the last year. In 2003 at 2,300 miles, a RUF senior technician was flown in from Germany to install a genuine RUF TurboR package which is verified by a certificate of authenticity.  Accompanied by service records dating back to the late 1990s including some considerable items carried out within the last few years, this RUF-upgraded 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction while showing just over 18k miles on the odometer.

This Turbo is finished in Grand Prix White and is characterized by wide fenders and a body-colored rear spoiler. The seller reports a few minor road-going chips on the front end commensurate with the car’s mileage, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. “Big Red” Brembo brake calipers are tucked behind the 18” Turbo hollow-spoke wheels which feature colored Porsche crests and new Continental tires.

Inside, you will find two-tone Marble Grey and Black leather interior with optional supple leather upholstery on the front and rear seats.  Other factory options include heated front seats with lumbar support, a remote 6-disc CD changer, and the Digital Sound Package. The cabin stays true to its original appearance with the factory CR-210 radio remaining in place.  Some signs of wear are noted on the shift knob and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.

This 993 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine featuring a RUF TurboR package. First introduced in 1998, this package was specially developed by the engineers at RUF to minimize turbo lag while producing an output of up to 490 HP.  All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission.  This 993 is also said to have been upgraded with a RUF suspension system.  The TurboR package was installed at 2,300 miles by Mr. Josef Huber, a RUF senior technician, and a receipt for the work carried out is included in the photo gallery along with the rest of the official RUF documentation.

Records are said to be included dating back to the late 1990s, and the seller notes that maintenance was carried out by RAC Performance of Texas in 2017-2018.  More recently, service was completed by Boardwalk Ferrari along with a rebuild of a turbocharger earlier this year.  There are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time.
