Marking the last generation of the air-cooled 911 Turbo, this 1996 Porsche 993 comes finished in Polar Silver Metallic over black leather with factory exclusive carbon fiber trim pieces, aluminum-look instrument dials, stainless steel door entry guards, and extended leather upholstery. The car had remained with its first owner for almost 24 years and recently received an upgraded coilover suspension, turbocharger service, A/C service, and new tires.  This Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing under 19k miles on the odometer.

One of the most iconic Porsche colors of the era, this 993 comes finished in Polar Silver Metallic and is distinguishable as a Turbo by its wide fenders, red brake calipers, fixed rear spoiler, and 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels.  Optional colored Porsche crest center caps were chosen from the factory and the Michelin Pilot Sport tires were mounted in March of 2022. The headlamp and fog light lenses were also recently replaced, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The black leather interior is accented by exclusive carbon fiber shifter and handbrake levers, stainless steel door entry guards, and aluminum-look instrument dials.  Other options include a leather-trimmed center console and door openers, automatic speed control, an electric sunroof, and a Porsche CDR-210 radio paired with a 6-disc CD changer.

The air-cooled twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission sending up to 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels. Stopping power is derived from fixed 4-piston aluminum “Big Red” Brembo brake calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors front and rear.  The dynamic Active Brake Differential (ABD) and a limited-slip differential are also equipped as standard.  An upgraded coilover suspension was installed in March of 2022 followed by turbocharger service, an oil and filter change, a new air filter, and an A/C system service.

This sale will include a clean title.

  • Hi (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

@stim4u paint meters on 993s are pretty normal to have a reading difference as longer they are not over 9Mills + they are all original paint

@stim4u No evidence of paintwork other than the higher readings. If it did have paint, I would expect the readings to be even higher than that.

Actually Porsche made some air-cooled 993's in 1998, which would be the last year.

  • Marta_is_me (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

I thought the last year of the air cooled 9/11/993’s what is 1997
